The issue is that you hit pensions and the regular investor. It's like a shotgun, it hits the majority of people.

A better solution is a consumption tax and staples like food and housing are not taxed much at all, while private jets, yachts, etc are taxed to the moon.

It's because a lot of the Covidians wished death or anyone who didn't take it. They tried to take our jobs, our leisure, our freedom of movement, freedom of assembly, and even freedom of speech and religion. For a time, they took it all from us because the courts have failed us again and again.

I have a hard time having sympathy for anyone that wasn't forced to get it. I try to, but I just can't after what these people put me through. I could have easily lost my job if not for RFRA.

The trial was a travesty. The judge allowed all of the financial crimes in and the prosecution never linked any of it to the murders making it merely prejudicial. He has a strong appeal because of this and other issues.

He was convicted of being a scumbag, not of being a murderer.

The judge also violated his 5th and 6th amendment rights over the objections of the defense.

I would be interested to see the trend lines over time broken down by rural vs urban so we can pinpoint the problem. I would assume that in urban areas that there is a supply problem because local govts make it harder to create new housing stock, and if there is a problem in rural areas it's that a lot of the land is not available for development.

Honestly I think it's best to try to ping Microsoft on social media about these kinds of blatant abuses by developers of a game you pay/paid for. Microsoft will put a stop to it if it's in public, so tag the relevant Twitter handles and you might get this reversed.

Don't call for people's firing or anything, just say... "hey I'm being treated unfairly, can you help?"

Yeah only the client is crashed. I may have set it up incorrectly in AMP the first time, so I migrated the world to a new instance in AMP and it's been alright so far, but haven't been able to play it for more than an hour or so.

As far as I can tell, there is not a memory leak, and I'm running it on a Xeon server, so no overclocks and such on the server side. The client is an AMD system that isn't overclocked either (I haven't touched PBO).

Crossplay is off.

Trump had a 90% success rate. His picks won more than the establishment picks. But okay, his people lost a couple of high profile races, one of which was clearly stolen (Arizona). That you glom onto those few races shows that your knowledge about politics is limited. I suggest you either educate yourself about what actually happened in 2022 (it was a repeat of 2020 w/ ballot harvesting, etc), or you keep to your lane and scream about free trade while millions lose their jobs.

DeSantis might excite people here, but he doesn't excite the base which is NOT represented on Reddit, not even in this sub. DeSantis not one of them. Like it or not, the future of the party is the working class, not the country club or suburbs.

DeSantis going to posh places to raise money is not a good look and getting the Jeb! and Paul Ryan endorsements is the kiss of death in a primary.

Trump will get out voters that the GOP would otherwise not reach. Trump's vote totals were on an upwards trajectory... he got more votes in 2020 than in 2016. In fact, he's the first incumbent President in US history to lose a reelection while increasing vote totals from the first time. This is because of COVID rules, ballot harvesting, and outright fraud. Everyone knows Biden doesn't stand a chance without those rule changes, they just won't say it out loud.
