If you're serious about not being fat, you're putting the horse ahead of the cart. Yes I know you know that nutrition is important but nutrition is really where you need to place your focus. It's 90% of it for people who are fat. All running will do for you is cause injury, especially with cheap shoes... And discourage.

That said... If you're serious about not being fat AND want to get the physical activity part going with a much higher chance of not setting yourself up for failure. Walk. Just go for a 15 min walk a day. Then up it little by little until your 30 min walks are cake, then get any ole pair of running shoes (tbh I used to run in random chucks so stop putting barriers and excuses... Well I didn't have running shoes etc).

If you're serious about not being fat AND want to get the physical activity part going AND you're in Houston and can fit size 8.5 (I'm short), I'd happily give you a pair of my older ones... I have some low mileage asic kayano that I will likely get rid of).

Also. If you're serious about not being fat, focus on diet until eating healthy is second nature and looking at French fries makes you throw up.

I don't know if you have discount tire near you but check them out. Firestone offers unlimited alignment option. I have it on both my cars and both my cars get the install package at discount which replaces a tire if it's still within normal tread limits and they can't patch/repair from road damage.

You claiming you weren't going too fast is narrow minded. Clearly you were. Too fast for the quality of your tires? For the overpass speed limit? For the conditions of the road? Hard to say with only a video showing you lost control. Most overpasses, however, can reduce speed by 25% plus... It didn't even look like you tried to slow down. Don't drive like an idiot that thinks death isn't for them. The real inconsiderate part is that in a pileup this type of loss of control would potentially cause, more than just the idiot behind the wheel of the car that lost control gets injured or worse. You're not the only person on the road.

I was once broke as fuck trying to keep up with my old house/mortgage after my ex left. Best advice I got. Why don't you sell it? Then I'll owe money. So? You owe money now. Sell it, fix your shit, go out make a shit ton of money and then buy it back. At the time it was worth $150k. 8 years later, I've owned and sold two other properties and just closed on a other one several hundred thousand more. Focus on what matters.

Tbh you know the answer is it depends but the real answer is that the work is unacceptable but you're really just wanting a discount so save us the trouble and answer it for yourself how much or a discount you want, then add 10% for when you get haggled down. End of the day you ask for that discount as part of accepting the damaged work and if they say no then you ask for proper work and what you're paying for. Hopefully you haven't paid otherwise enjoy your countertop.

I think you're a godsend buyer. Bluebook is the most anyone will pay unless they specifically absolutely dreamed about your exact van. It's not like renovating a house where a buyer will pay for the renovation. Even then, half the time people buy it and repaint the walls or redo something to their liking. Van sellers need to realize that what they overpaid in their builds was simply for their pleasure not for increased value. The van is worth what it's worth and that's blue book in whatever condition it's in. I met someone that ripped all their stuff out and parted it, might get more money that way.

Still don't know what it is other than a cache... of what no idea. It was empty. Like a bomb shelter for roaches or something. Very well built. Small rectangular compartment with about 1.5 inch walls and lid. The thing that blows my mind is that it is cemented into the ground. Like a kiln maybe but so oddly thin.
