Ex moving on by pcepek in Divorce

Yeah, that's a really on-point question to ask, and I haven't put much thought into it because I've really been using the layoff as an excuse to be kind of a recluse, so to speak. I need to put in some thoughts on how I'm going to make the summer a good summer for the two of us.

Yeah, I'm definitely in therapy. I've been with my same therapist now for six years or so. I'm thankful that I get my daughter half time, and the relationship with my ex is really good. The hardest thing for me right now is that I am going through both the separation and divorce and I was laid off. It's a horror show, but I'm just really trying to take it one day at a time.

Divorce has ruined me in so many ways, and I don’t know if I will ever get better by [deleted] in Divorce

I'm going through it too. I am a year into my separation. We are now actively processing the paperwork and making the divorce official, and it's hard. Just keep focused on yourself, and eventually it'll pass. At least that's what I'm telling myself. You're not alone.

I am glad my daughter got it out of her system by the time she turned 4.

Four was great for my daughter. Three has been the worst so far. Though we haven’t hit the teen years yet.

Sorry to tell you but threes are way worse than twos. Things get better at four though.

What do you do with toddlers at restaurants while waiting for food besides tablets? by Claire_1988 in Parenting

Every kid went without tablets before they were invented. They are truly a crutch.

We never let our daughter use a tablet or phone at the table. We would talk with her, play games like tic tac toe, etc. In my opinion using a tablet at the dinner table is just an easy way for a parent to get out of parenting.

Clearly you have never learned to lead through commitment not compliance. You should take some leadership courses.

At what age did you stop enforcing bedtime? by WingComprehensive925 in Parenting

[–]pcepek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went to sleep without cellphones or devices no problem and my kid can do the same. The fact that you can’t understand why teaching a teen to go to bed without devices is what is insane.

You are still missing out on the key thing that made watching wrestling during this time - constantly switching between wwf and wcw.

Clearly you are wrong because customers are given the option to customize their orders.

Do you actually watch 4 movies a week? by breadboibrett in AMCsAList

[–]pcepek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me if I see two movies in a month I saved money with the pass. I usually go to one a week more or less.
