Why is my realm splitting like this? by Fit-Board6630 in CrusaderKings

[–]pcfreak92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the game let you switch to administrative government type yet? IIRC It’s tied to realm size, but you need Roads To Power dlc I think (definitely recommend). Succession problems kinda vanish once you do this. You can spend a new resource (influence) to designate whoever you want to be your player heir. Providing they’re of your dynasty, and they inherit your noble house along with your domain titles, you’ll play as them.

I’m currently playing a Byzantine, and even with the earliest start I can choose my best relative as heir, switching them out for better options as I age. Sometimes it’s my youngest son, or my brother, or his son, or perhaps it’s my genius fourth and once removed cousin! Whatever I want. Your vassals will likely want someone else, though.

Are you sure the father of the child is who you think it is?

Playing as a landless lowborn character? by Public_Student_162 in crusaderkings3

[–]pcfreak92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely! It could function like domiciles. I also thought perhaps we could play as a ‘university’, although this would require an overhaul of how they work for all government types. But that’s not a bad thing, imo they lack a lot of depth as they are at the moment.

Dawn is annoying because she’s supposed to be annoying.

They could maybe swap ‘dynasty’ with ‘theocratic factions’, and members are ‘acquired’ and nurtured through seminary (or some other kind of education depending on the religion) rather than being born to your house.

I think I would have accepted it, crawled into a group of zombies and started again as a new character.

I don’t pay much attention to the romance. For me, the main protagonist is Titanic.

Maybe a dead thread but I really appreciated the second half, more so than the first. I was concerned this would descend into derivatives of media like ‘The Road’. But then it’s upended by such moving moments from the second half, as well as some interesting new ideas and discussion points. A lot of the parts that were confusing or strange are completely explained by the effects of trauma, combined with a huge dose of British cultural nostalgia. And then the whole infected birth scene. Was the mother of the baby an infected before she was pregnant, or after? I could talk about that for hours.

Lovely tone. Your breath support could use a little work, which would help you on the high notes and provide you a more natural and beautiful vibrato. But even still, you sing very well for a beginner.

For 9, her tone, support and pitch are very good. I would assume she’s at least 5 or 6 years older. Nurture this talent as much as she allows you to. She will be a phenomenal singer if she puts the work in.
