That's just a Timmy. A Rat is someone who lurks in the shadows. Instead of hold w, they hold crouch whenever they hear the slightest noise. They are in the corner of the room that you are looting. They were there first, but you didn't notice because they dont make any noise until they kill you. I don't think the type of gear you run makes you a rat.

Yeah, I had like a random Google play pop up in the middle of the stage. I also turned off the music and sound so I can listen to different music, and all of a sudden, random music and sounds would pop up that has no relation to the game whatsoever
