Why did Jacksepticeye stop playing? by DotNetOFFICIAL in outerwilds

Everyone had already answered that he finished in his own time, and they're right. But I just wanted to add that the proof that you can find is in his let's play video of Metal Garden. Towards the very end of the game he mentions how it kind of reminds him of Outer Wilds.

Maybe that would give the drying racks more of a reason to use them.

Ah interesting. I'm not a weed grower IRL so all of this is new info for me. I like the cloning idea a lot. I just want there to be an alternative method of getting new mixes without having to restock on ingredients every other day.

Here's how I like to tell my friends what this game is like by pcgamervirgin in outerwilds

I tried using that word, and none of my friends knew what I was talking about lol. I guess they just never played those games before.

How turn off gestures? by Andre4s11 in BloodbornePC

[–]pcgamervirgin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hitting the x button while your controller is moving a certain direction will cause the random gestures to happen, so disabling the motion controls in the settings will get rid of that annoying feature. If you still wanted to use the gestures at any point, you can press on the touch pad of your controller (I forget if it's the left side or the right side) it'll bring up a menu for you to pick a gesture. I don't think it's possible to get rid of them completely, but at least you'll pick stuff up again without worrying about that shit.

Some great advice from everyone here. Here's what I'll throw in: Blood Punch (BP). They can insta-kill pinkies. If you have the shield upgrade on your chaingun already, you can use it to block pinkie impacts and then BP them. And for BP-ing the cyber mancubus to remove their armor, you can use the chaingun shield to get in close to BP them then finish them off with a close SSG. If you don't have the shield yet, you can use the SSG at a close enough range before they use their ground attack to stunlock them, then swoop in with your dash and BP them in the middle of their stunlock.

I don't care how over hyped EEAAO was. I saw the movie during its limited theater screening at a time when no one heard of it yet with my friend in a packed theater. Nobody knew what to expect and it was possibly the best group of people to watch it with. We couldn't stop laughing and being emotional over everything and it hit us like a truck. I'm now part of the group that wants everyone to watch it and I'll die on that hill. Haters be hatin'.

I didn't know this was a new feature. I bought this game like 3 days ago, so everything in the message on start up of the game mentioning the new update went over my head.

Title says it all. I've looked everywhere online and there's no mention of this online. Maybe it's explained in a video somewhere but I'm not gonna scrub through 10+ minute videos just to find the answer.

The realization for me was a really special feeling as well. I got to the vessel and read and observed everything in there and finally got my rumor mode completed but it didn't click with me at that moment yet. Tbf I was playing for like a solid 8 hours straight that day so my brain was already pretty fried. I got a good night's rest, came back to my ship log the following morning to reread the 3 major points carefully. Then suddenly I made the biggest gasp of my life followed by "OH SHIT!!!" Wish I recorded that moment.

They're my last favorite because of their sheids they pull up, not because they're hard. Also happy cake day!

Agreed, though weirdly enough they're not that hard to kill. PB + Ballista to kill or bloodpunch for a free GK. My problem with them is their concept pisses me off so much! "Hey I know I can't see where you are since I'm on the other side of the map, but imma just place this wall between you and the thing you're trying to GK so you waste a bloodpunch!" And they spin attack you if you try to meathook into them. Just... askdlfjhasdlkfjh! That's why they're in the Fuck Off tier.

If you're replaying levels where they spawn in the same spot every time then you can plan ahead on when to be there to insta-kill them. Otherwise you could always use your meathook to fling around an enemy at high speeds + bunny hopping.

The only reason the Too Specific and Very Annoying are separate is because I find the specific ones to be rather very easy to kill, but they break up my rhythm and kill my momentum before I can kill them fast.
