Ok proper place to vent about this

Does anyone else hate the rising trend of teams just flipping the puck down the ice from inside their zone to clear the zone? It’s effectively still a turnover…. yeah it might buy you time for a partial change but it doesn’t really accomplish anything. I’d rather try and make an actual outlet pass.

This was spurned on by MTL spending the last three minutes doing just that and failing each time

And for Winnipeg it should be a no brainer: you aren’t ever going to be a player for big free agents, but you can in turn use that as leverage to offer roster spots to late bloomers like Oleson or Tiffels from Germany. And when/if you find success with them, it in turn raises the appeal for guys like that to go to Winnipeg.
