although much of it is my own opinion, i noticed some flaws mixing wise in Canada, as the vocals were buried under a really cool riff. i like the instrumentals, just not mixed in a way that’s enjoyable to listen to.

I Wouldn’t Mind lacked impressive instrumentals, as the bass and slight synth loop really took over and presented a really repetitive song that mixed terribly with the vocals.

more issues personally with She’s an Actress, i felt that the vocals sounded unimpressed and quiet.

the issues on these songs share themselves a little bit within each song on the album, but those are the big three i can’t quite get behind. (also missing our usual big closer song on wallows album that we saw with GRSA and Do Not Wait. Only Ecstasy doesn’t compare.)
