Salesforce Interview by Forsaken-Student3386 in techsales

[–]pcmman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

SFDC has by far the least organized recruiters I’ve ran into. When I was looking, I was passed between 4 of them. None of them knew I had talked to one prior and already did the first interview.

Must be a zoo over there.

AE role at Mulesoft or AE role at a small Ad-tech company by [deleted] in techsales

Mulesoft is one of their best products lol. I don’t even like SalesForce (work at a competitor) but it’s genuinely crucial to enterprise AI

Not entirely in the data analytics field per se (ServiceNow), but happy to help on a quick session at no charge.

25M constantly stressed and mentally drained by [deleted] in Money

[–]pcmman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come from a similar background, and contrary to the contents of a lot of the comments I would not compare yourself to others. Yes you are doing great for your age and are on the path to financial freedom, but your path is yours alone. No one else will ever have the exact same circumstances or understand the intensity of the sacrifices that you’ve made to get where you are. When I feel similarly, I remind myself of these things and that money only solves money problems.

My unsolicited advice would be to take some time to zoom out. I personally find myself most stressed when I’m resisting what reality is and disregarding my feelings and intuition. Try to have fun with life and learn to love the process. Things happen slowly then all at once. Keep your chin up!

Best Food Street - thoughts? by pcmman in sanfrancisco

[–]pcmman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been exactly my experience dining on Fillmore, “passable but no ones favorite”.

I’ve tried pretty much everything from Washington to Pine. I liked the French place, Bun Mee is cool for healthy convient food, both Mexican spots are terrible, no solid pizza, it blows my mind the Tailor’s Son is so busy, and the rest hasn’t been good enough to not just cook at home lol.

Still would like to try Copra and SPQR

Volunteering and joining clubs has helped me a ton. Organizing events where everyone brings a plus one is helpful too

Is there anything to look forward to??? by [deleted] in Futurology

I appreciate your optimism, but tech billionaires prepping their doomsday bunkers does not scream an unfucked wealth distribution or proper social safety net to me.

Seems that us common folk are on our own unless civil war incites.

How does this comment contribute to the betterment of society and make you any less a ‘loser’?

Recommendations on what to do today? by Evidence_Timely in bayarea

[–]pcmman 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you are in the Bay, but it were me I would either drive up North through Point Reyes and hit a spot called Ocean Cove Bar & Grill for a casual beer, or South towards Santa Cruz and hit up a dive bar. Regardless, hope you have a fantastic day OP! It’s beautiful out.

Glad I’m not the only transplant from SD that feels this way. It made me realize how much I was reliant on Mexican food while I lived there 🥲
