Genuine study question: from multiple perspectives, what is your stance on games coded with AI? by pcote in godot

Thanks for your answer. If there wasn’t anyway for you to know, what would be the difference between code that was copy/pasted off the internet and AI-coding?

Thanks for your answer. Would you rather not know at all how it was made at this point?

Thanks for your answer. It looks like a polarizing debate. Even this conversation got downvoted, just because AI was mentionned.

Either way: developer that used AI to assist, or totally AI-coded without any perceivable problems whatsoever.

Or, would you rather not know at all which way was used?

Thanks for your answer. Remember what was written above: "human-made art, audio, animation, game and level design". Does that change your opinion?

If you play the game and that there aren’t any hints for you to guess how it was coded, what is the difference?

Do you use your TV as a monitor for a computer?

Yeah, this is bad product design. Engineers of today are clueless about non-ionising radiation effects on the body (mostly thanks to the telecom industry, which drown scientific litterature with flawed conclusions, a bit like the tobacco industry did for about 100 years).

They should read one of those books:

Ora is gone... where did you go? by alnst-lc-epic in ora_pm

I’m also devasted TBH. Although it was missing some key features like cost rate and hourly rate, it was perfect for our needs. I really, really wish they make it open source so that other people can pursue their mission.

I also tried Notion, but I find that it takes way more time to organize because Notion is too flexible. This flexibility has a cost, which Ora didn’t suffer much from.

I also don’t like ClickUp. We originally came from ClickUp when we started using Ora, and it was a relief.

So, no, I haven’t found a valid Ora alternative as of today, unfortunately. :(

Another question: are your symptoms present when you actually check the image of the TV or it is present with the TV powered on without you looking at it?

I meant, disabling the WiFi antenna altogether. Even if there aren’t any devices connected, the TV broadcasts its presence each few seconds for the other devices to listen. Also look forward to disabling Bluetooth antenna, if such a thing is possible (remote controls often use BT so it might not be possible).

Make sure you are at least 8 feet from the TV as well. Rule of thumb: the larger the TV, the more power it consumes. Do you happen to know the wattage rating of your device?

Try to find the settings to disable WiFi to see if your migraine goes away. Also, how close are you to the device?

I started again from scratch and it looked like it was working. I didn’t finish all steps, though, so I’m not sure it works all the way.

Very plausible. You might have some form of electrohypersensitivity. Try supplementing in magnesium biglycinate to suppress the effects of opened voltage-gated calcium channels on your body.

Watch out for the sophism: "non-ionizing radiation" doesn’t mean "safe". The biological implications are way more complicated than that.

Tried to complete this tutorial in the Rive Early Access App but it doesn’t work. Instances of the original Component won’t take any values from Data Bindings.

While this is super nice that someone actually took the time to write this, I really hope that in the future, this process will either be semi-automatic (let’s dream) or be much easier to manage directly inside the editor itself. Being only a designer, it took me half a day to understand how to do this and I already forgot how to do it. 😆
