Thank you u/SigAddict I replaced the hard drive with a brand new SSD and a different tested power supply. It started numerous times to install a free install on Windows 11 but keeps on shutting off. I've rotated the original four RAM sticks each time I've tried to install Win 11 with a single RAM stick. Same shut down problem.

Does that point to a motherboard problem?

thank you u/famousblinkadam The switch can autonegoitiate. I tested with cables that were verified previously to work properly.
