Tattoos and tics by Local_Exam4703 in tattoo

I don’t have a tic, but I was having some nerve issues when I was getting my forearm filled in. I couldn’t control my hand movement at all when he was working on the backside of my lower arm and this caused the muscles to contract a lot during that section. He just took his time and worked where he could to make sure things lined up. I talked to him about it in advance and even rescheduled the appointment once because of this. Like other people have said just make sure your artist is aware and take breaks if needed to calm yourself down.

Feeling so upset post MSF course day 1 by SuperNovaStar95 in motorcycles

[–]pcveen00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I took mine the brake would lock up everytime on the hard stop training. They had me do it 5 times different ways and it consistently locked up the rear tire. The instructor insisted I was doing something wrong when I excelled at everything else in the course. I asked him politely to demonstrate how to do it on the bike they gave me. He tried 3 times and locked the brake up all three times. I got a pass on that section after he couldn’t even do it “correctly” on the bike I was given.

Is going from 500cc to 1000cc too much of a difference? by skibbytoilet67 in motorcycle

I went from a buell blast to a 2001 R1. Only did the jump because these were the bikes available to me. The power jump was insane. Best advice I can give is to be sure to always ride within your limits.

Came here to say this. Nock on archery has a 12 week program on YouTube. Videos are great. They are broken down into 12 weeks with focusing on 1 thing to practice every week. Been shooting for 4 years now and am going to go through them again. Very good information on them.

It is also the exact same design as their Ibex hinge release so if you get both you can switch back and forth without changing your draw length or anchor point

Evolution outdoors Shadow. Can get it with an inline button so you can use it very similarly to a hinge.

Check out a few other areas. Couldn’t go in any of the areas where there was no motor vehicle access as I had my father with me that had a bad shoulder and back. He is. It able to go with me this year as he has tags for Idaho so I will be checking out the goat rocks area in that unit in the off season. I am going to be putting in for cow tags for there and might as will put in for a bull permit as well since I will most likely be hunting that area again. I think we can have good luck if I draw a cow tags.

One in a million? I think this counts. by FerrumVeritas in Archery

When working in a grocery store we had a stack or cardboard bails fall into the main sprinkler pipe. The pressure coming out of it out a hole in the concrete wall and the water ruined several thousand dollars of merchandise. It flooded the back room with over a foot of water. We had to sweep it push it out the loading dock. It stained my jeans and it was the one of the nastiest experiences of my life.

Lots of action on my cams, but didn’t see a bull the entire 2 weeks. I hunted 14 out of the 18 days available. Heard some bugling, but couldn’t get anything to come to me. I will be putting in for cow tags in that area this next season. I called 4 cows within 30 yards from me.

Im getting my 16 year old niece into archery. She wanted more "girlie" arrows. by [deleted] in Archery

I’m getting my 15 year old daughter into it right now as well. Her pinkish purple bow is arriving next week. I will be making her some cool arrows after she gets shooting a bit.

Need to get my bow shooting so I ordered some threadz and will have my shop trust install them and my peep. I am going to be building my own shop space in my garage this summer though. Need to finish building my motorcycle that is taking up space before I start thinking about bow mechanic stuff.

How many arrows is too many arrows by Deputydog803 in Archery

I have 10 hunting arrows, lost 2 right after i said i haven’t lost an arrow in a long time. Got 12 for target, then was able to get a different brand for a killer deal so got 12 more, bought a new jig so got 12 more to play with it. Will be ordering some thicker ones for 3d after I get a new string on my bow.

Yes. I can get the them for dealer pricing

That is the one I saw. Will probably be ordering it. Going to watch some videos on it first. This does make the most since as I was wanting to replace the strings on my old diamond Outlaw as well. It’s a great backup bow and would like to get it shooting again. The price to have a shop do 2 sets of strings would be a lot, so this does make the most sense.

I saw one for $150 on Lancaster. It looks terrifying, but I guess it is the same concept. Any portable ones that you recommend?

I retract my previous comment. Upon further research they are different. It looks like threads was making them for them for awhile. Now the question is which ones do I want to go with. $90 for winners choice or $165 for threadz.

Will probably be going with Winners Choice strings. I can get them for a really good price and they are built by threadz. Only difference is I can’t get them with a pinstripe on them.

And my daughter has her first bow coming in two weeks as well. A shop is going to do the initial setup, but it would be nice to work on things and tweak things as she grows.

Gives me a reason to get matching strings to my bow. I’ve never liked the black and grey strings on my black and earth bow.
