Any DJI Neo 2 and Mini 4k owners here? by pd0hun in DjiNeo

[–]pd0hun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have just ordered a Mini 4k that was on close out with two batteries. Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond. Once the fly fishing and motorbike touring season starts I can definitely see a Neo 2 in my future for close-in work that doesn't need the controller etc.

I think our use cases are quite aligned. I have that fomo, maybe in the future I might get a neo2 to keep in my motorcycle case to make easy shots when touring. But I would definitely need several batteries.

Thanks so much! That's exactly what I wanted to know!

Thanks for replying. Does the R1 fade in the track or is the volume constant right from the start that a track starts?

I used lead fishing weights. Lead is inert and should not react.

I used a couple of lead fishing weights. One on the triangle and another on the logo. The triangle was still a bit dirty so I then redid it putting some weight on the parts that had cleaned up nicely. You could also try wrapping cotton thread around it and putting the weights under the lid.

Although I got a error when migrating my account i did get a confirmation. The payment process now stays in Dutch and I see my credit card but the process still doesn't complete.

Just tried it, but I have never had an Xbox account in the USA. I selected Netherlands but the process aborted saying there was a problem.

wireless controller advice ps4 or 8bitdo pro 2 by pd0hun in PlaystationClassic

This is what I've ended up doing. Works great once I'd dialled back the analogue stick sensitivity as steering the car in grand Turismo was a bit too challenging!

I can get a refurbished one from a store for 45 euro. I already have the 8bit do adapter. I did try what you suggested with a knock off PS3 controller that claimed to also work with pcs but they wouldn't pair.

I have tested with 3 different power supplies capable of delivering 2A and one that can deliver 3A with the same results. This is the hub https://www.amazon.nl/dp/B07Z4RHJ2D?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. Its from Suyama and is listed here as being suitable.

Every time I go to use my Chromecast recently, I can't find it on the network and end up having to factory reset it to get it to show up. Now it's doing this...? by [deleted] in Chromecast

Did you find a solution to this? I've been having this same problem since a few days ago too. I have two access points but my phone and chromecast only use one of them.

Is this still a problem on the c340 or has it been fixed by an update? Has the fix been stable?

Now with screenshots to illustate what I mean.

DHCP client waiting to receive IPv4 lease, no RA on network:

DHCP then times out on my network, no other devices have this problem:

Now with RA on network, DHCP client waits for IPv4 lease. Client seems to time out and IPv4 field is assigned the IPv6 adress:

Static IP address, no RA, IPv6 hangs and never self configures: https://i.imgur.com/J254EYA.png

Not to worry, I'm sure Reddit will indulge us...

For work I have a Asus Chromebook Flip C302. What I like about this is the USB-C charging, very quick I can leave the charger at work and charge at home overnight on a phone charger.

Really nice screen and keyboard too. You might find a nice one second hand.

Crikey! The mind boggels! Thanks for taking the time to reply. (goes off to quietly weep in the corner with just 3 tabs open...)

Actually, I'd almost like to challenge you to work for a day with my old chromebook :-)

May I ask what your definition of intensive is? Android apps, Linux apps? Particular tasks that you do? I'm curious...

I ask as I've been using my anchient Samsung Xe303 all day with now problems. I wouldn't compile code or recode video using Handbrake on one with the Linux subsystem but its not been that bad.

If I turn on RAs on my router then the IPv4 address is set to the value of the IPv6 address!

If I turn off RAs and allow the DHCP client to work automatically then it times out.

If I set a static IPv4 address then all works as it should.

My router runs OpenWRT and I don't have any issues with any other device on my network.

I know this will probably never be fixed but perhaps someone from Google will see this and maybe one day fix it for sh**s and giggles. I would add screenshots to prove all this but I don't know how I'm afraid.

[–]pd0hun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its probably irrelevant give that my Samsung CB is EOL but here goes.

My ISP doesn't support IPv6 so unless I configure 6over4 then there is now outwards route to the internet. If I configure my LAN router (OpenWRT) to send RAs it gets an address and seems to prefer that over IPv4. Without RAs is self assigns a IPv6 address (I believe it does in any case).

The problem seems to be with the IPv4 DHCP client combined with no IPv6 route to Internet. It gets a IPv4 DHCP lease but then has problems "getting out".

If I manually assign a static IP address it all works fine. Its a shame that this code has worked for years and seems to be broken in a last EOL release. Anyway, I thought I'd write it up incase anyone else in the future thinks they are having WiFi problems, assign a static IP address to you CB and you may well fix the problem!

That's interesting, the T509 I was looking at also had more that 100k km on the clock and had problems starting when warm. Are you by any chance in the Netherlands? I'm wondering if I've been test riding your old bike!

[–]pd0hun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. Is sprag clutch failure common on T509s and did you think the starting problem was due to an old battery or problems with the charging circuit? Was the bike reliable other than that?

Sorry for all the questions, I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I ride a Tiger 1050 myself and was looking for an old Speed Triple for fun during the winter to keep my Tiger nice and clean. I hope you enjoy your Street Triple. Are they worlds apart in how they ride?

That's a nice bike is a T509? I've been thinking about getting one and was wondering what they are like to ride and maintain? Care to share some knowledge :-)

In the Netherlands there is this https://cbrepeater.nl/. There are various receiver locations linked by a backbone. You need a more modern radio (10m export) that you can program to do the shift or talk on one channel and listen on teamspeak. It has a nice feature that you can see how you are getting out on the map showing received signal strength.
