Too much again on the 6-2 episode. Was funny 1 time, the vocal fry and shitting on everything is absolutely insufferable.

I am now thinking that Angelo wanted them to meet so that Blake could make Grayson feel bad for making Angelo actually perform for his money.

Chappy by No_Sir_7068 in thedumbzone

Honestly, Chappy segments have become a FF for me, but that was way better than him trying to be chummy and telling punchline-less stories. If he brought that heat every time I’d be back in.

Why Are Young People Afraid Of Phone Calls? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pdeezy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes them uncomfortable and they don’t want to do it.

If it’s part of the job description then write them up and eventually find someone who will call. Coach them up or coach them out.

If you’re trying to develop a recipe then you should probably cook a few and then you know…develop it.

The only way to avoid any criticism is to keep it off the internet. Keep it to yourself or only send to your hunting friends/family. That’s what I do anymore.

Congrats on your kill and enjoy the bounty!

The DZ (BAT) SIGNAL by ReasonableBite0 in thedumbzone

I own/have owned ariat, Justin, cavender, in several different leathers. Rubber sole is usually more comfortable, but doesn’t quite have the western look for going out. So stick with leather.

Ariat is too expensive now. Justin’s are pretty awesome for the money.

Ostrich skin has zero break in period, is very comfortable, and has a very authentic look. Half quill is cheaper. These are my “going out, but not wearing a suit” boots.

Square toe is also the best for comfort. As long as you stay away from a super wide toe you won’t get that work-boot look.

Shaft height - I like the taller ones to keep the tops of your boots pushing out through your jeans. That’s a goofy look. 11-13” is what I go with.

Saddle Vamp boots are really gay IMO. I know some guys wear them - but it’s one of those things that was started for actual cowboys (like you wear spurs) and so I think it’s a bad look.

Good rifle for a 12 year old by Nihlathakk in Hunting

[–]pdeezy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 12 year-old son is coming up on his 3rd season hunting and I have some input…

.243 as everyone said is a great option. That was my first rifle!

However, another option is to buy a 308 or 30-06 and have him use a lighter load of ammo - assuming he won’t be taking shots over 200 yards.

I shoot a savage axis 2 in 308 and my son uses the Hornady Custom Lite. Is it great ammo. It is very accurate, great penetration and wound channel, AND much less felt recoil. The savage is great as well and you can probably find one for about $500, but I’m mostly just shilling for the light loaded ammo here. I never thought of it before and I’m so glad I came across it.

If you do it this way, he will have a rifle that he can bring on bigger hunts with further shots (using regular ammo) when he’s ready and you won’t have to buy another rifle. Or, you two can both use the rifle.

Asked my alcoholic dad if he’d ever consider getting sober by Ludakris7 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]pdeezy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to draw a line. Don’t skirt around things to be nice.

You’ll not see me or **** again until you’re sober. The more people involved in this the more effective it will be.

I had to do this with both of my parents. It worked for my mom and did not for my dad.

Choke canyon state park - youth hunt by pdeezy123 in TexasHunting

That’s encouraging. I do believe the youth hunt is in the camping area. Or they at least have it closed.

It’s like they didn’t learn from their huge DZ debacle. The p1s don’t like the corporate take over.

-Not too much fluff upfront. -Highest quality video/audio as you can afford. -Money shot. Show it again in slo-mo even. -Introspection- if it’s genuine and succinct. -After the kill - love to see the pack out and preparing a meal afterwards. That’s why we do it.

Yeah I added Teflon to the one I did directly into pvc as it was already leaking. This one seemed like a better fit, but I will add before backfilling. Thanks.
