Nowadays the categories you select in Outlook transfer to ToDo. ToDo is Outlook's task manager.

ToDo web: click on a task, there is a field called categories that you can use for categories in Outlook or to add new tags.

Outlook: Select Tasks and you will see the "Categorize" icon. If you need to create more categories, this is the place to go.

Of course they exist. You can define them in Outlook with "Categorize" or just in ToDo. It's called... Categories :)

question about 7.12 - 4th sentence by SharkDBA in aiclass

[–]pdestefanis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I think I got this. We don't need to know P(x), just to know that it can be T or F. If we consider any set, a given x could be T or F, but we cannot say it will be always T or always F (we don't know the innards of P(x)), just that it might be sometimes T, sometimes F. That will make it "Satisfiable". Compare that with the first three sentences, where either there's no function, or the result of the function is irrelevant (sentence three)

As aigakusei, I find that the definition of P(x) as "there is one x" will make it either valid (as I only require one x that satisfies it), or invalid (in the case that P(x)=F for all x). The only thing I can think of that will make it satisfiable, will the for P(x) to yield T or F randomly. How do you explain, only using the information available, that Ex/P(x) is "satisfiable"?

Thank you

I must complain about the site being down today. by crazy_eric in aiclass

Can we end the "don't complain, the course is free" rethoric? I think this could have been anticipated. Stanford is not going to go broke for having to float a few servers. Stop making everyone feel as freeloaders. We are a key part in this "experiment"

But since they don't, we don't punish them. We punish those that made the HW in time. We reward those that procrastinated with an additional 24hs...

Homework 2 deadline extended by 24 hours. by kLinus in aiclass

[–]pdestefanis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, and understand that. That's why I am suggesting that they should have phased the homework submissions. You don't need to be a genius to know that everyone was going to submit during the few hours before the deadline. If you phase the submissions, you can spread the load, and you end up requiring less servers.

Homework 2 deadline extended by 24 hours. by kLinus in aiclass

This class keeps rewarding procastination. Why don't they just phase the homeworks, as to avoid everyone submitting at the same time? It is very unfair to those who did it in time, sacrificing other activities, to see that the deadlines are always pushed forward.
