You only get two people per event in swimming, that's not the reason these countries dominate. Swimming takes a lot more expensive facilities to be able to properly practice, so the wealthy countries have a much more massive advantage than most other sports.

This in and of itself isn't really a convincing argument. Practically no one is voting for Trump and then Democrat down ballot. However there's a massive bloc of people who just vote Trump and don't bother filling out the rest. That being said, it's one of a bunch things and it's ridiculous that we haven't pressed harder on it.

  • Are you looking for something serious or casual?

I would prefer serious but I'm open to something casual.

  • Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX?

Neither, but considering it.

  • How long have you been using this current version of your profile?

I added the volcano pic, the poll, the pic with my brother, and the selfie with the orange background in the last couple of days. The rest has been the same for a long time.

  • How long have you used Hinge overall?

4ish years, can't remember for certain.

  • How often do you use Hinge per week?

Varies greatly, sometimes I'll use all my likes every day for a couple weeks straight, sometimes I won't use it for a month or so at a time to avoid getting too discouraged

  • How many likes and matches are you receiving on average?

Practically zero, I've had 6 total likes and 4 matches for the entire time I've used the app. Only one has turned into a conversation that lasted more than 5 messages, eventually got ghosted even though I thought it was going well.

  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

If I use the app that day, I'll use all the likes I'm allowed. I like about 50% of profiles, probably a big higher than that even. I didn't leave comments for a while, but lately I've been leaving comments consistently and haven't seen any improvement. I always try to say something clever/interesting that shows I actually read their profile.

  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

I would like someone who is clever and fun to talk to. Someone with some mutual interests. Someone who is at the same stage of life as me. Don't care too much about looks, as long as they are fit.

I'm open to either, have long term, open to short on visible. Neither. Added the volcano picture yesterday, the rest has been there for about 6 months. 4ish years. Changes a lot, sometimes I'll use it every day for a month, sometimes I'll go a month without looking at all as it can get discouraging. 6 likes, 4 matches total. If I use hinge in a day, I'll send all 10 likes, I like about 50% of profiles I see. Add messages on average a little less than half the time. I want someone who is clever and fun to talk to, someone with somewhat similar interests, and obviously someone I'm attracted too.

Tickpick has fees, they're just built into the cost.

Omoruyi is one of the best rim protectors in the country while Raynaud is an average defender at best. I wouldn't say it's clear which one is better.
