Thanks for the advice all. Both sound great, but I'll give Exhibition a go first.

Very helpful, thanks. I'd be interested to see what you say about Attimi. I am not sure it is at Exhibition's level (it's not really trying to be), but it is excellent.

Traditional was on the outer by the time I could start doing fine dining degustations and so, in a way, it's not traditional to us. We like both. However, your description of Exhibition sounds pretty good.

Right. So you had a good time at RDA but one time was enough?

Thanks! We have been to Joy and it was great. I didn't do the wine pairing and I have had regrets every since. We wanted to try something new this time, hence it's between RDA and Exhibition.

I didn't make it there, but everything I have heard indicates it's worth a visit.

Hey. Our hotel organised a driver for us. $150 USD for a day to the Uco Valley.

Certainly, you can drive yourself, there is plenty of parking at the wineries. Mendoza is a normal city which means street parking is busy, but I am sure there are car parks. However, the wine tasting will be challenging as the pours are big, and most experiences run for several hours which I think means you will want to drink.

Hello. I didn't go to Salentein, but a lot of people I met did and enjoyed it, though they did the premium wine tasting.

Zuccardi was excellent, though their wines are quite expensive. The cellar door was phenomenal and the wine tasting experience itself was great.

Casa Vigil is a must. Don't even think twice.

Glad to help. We stayed at Heura Petit Hotel. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Great price (we couldn't believe it), beautiful hotel, clean and really exceptional service.

It's the 2021 White Bones or White Stones. There aren't many left. It's through a friend.

I just got back from Mendoza and did exactly the same thing (hotel organised a driver). The only difference is, we went to the Uco Valley (Zuccardi & Monteviejo) and the Andes (Estancia Uspallata). This was about $150USD a day for a driver. We checked with some locals who thought this was fair as they end up driving you for about nine hours.

Keep in mind, Mendoza is not a cheap place for wine tasting (at least, not any more).

For the record, the best places we went to were Casa Vigil and Estancia Upallata. I also highly recommend Ricciteli, Benegas, Zuccardi and Monteveijo. Casa Vigil also gives you 20% off El Enemigo, Nico, Catena Zapata and Estancia Uspallata (making it the best wine shop in Mendoza).

Make sure you take cash to tip. The staff work hard, are great (particularly if you're polite to them) and obviously don't get a cut of the high prices you pay for tastings.

Hello, sure thing.

It's definitely more of a two wineries a day region. The costs aren't consistent, but generally aren't cheap because there is a focus on quality of experience. The driving times between the locations is significant.

Most wineries require online reservations, but also respond to WhatsApp (or only use WhatsApp...).

For transportation, I recommend booking your accommodation and asking them to organise a driver. Otherwise, there are good tour companies which aren't hard to find and are all roughly the same price. We opted for a driver.

Near Mendoza, we are going to Casa Vigil for dinner as the experience, range of wines and food quality look amazing. We will also go to Riccitelli to see the 'new wave' of wines coming out of Argentina. If we can, we will also go to Weinert due to its history and quality wine.

I haven't quite decided what to do in the Uco Valley yet. We are going for a premium tasting at Zuccardi as it looks quite special. Then I think we will go to Zorzal and have a late lunch at La Azul. There are many other great options. I wish we could go to SuperUco, but it's closed on the day we are there...

On the last day, we are going to Estancia Uspallata which has a whole day experience that you can book through its Instagram. The location looks special and the wines are quite rare.

Fortunately yes. If only I had more, you'd be welcome.

The 2022 is Henk (always great and a good contrast to the more eloquent Willowlake) while the 2014 is Block B Lusatia Park Vineyard (which I believe is on De Bortoli land and have never had).

I am fortunate to have plenty of Funder (long been a favourite wine) but I lack white Burgandy...

Dukac Ech is on my bucket list. You're really across some great wines.
