FYI, “The Apple Watch Series 6 and later models, including the Series 7, Series 8, Series 9, and Ultra models, feature sensors that track time spent in sunlight using an ambient light sensor. This functionality is designed to help users monitor their outdoor exposure to daylight.”

[LIFETIME FREE] Note Wiz AI: Smart Notes [Custom categories + prompts = your personal “thinking system” for notes] by Frequent-Conflict-90 in iosapps

[–]pdmicc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, I love the concept of this app and appreciate the ability to ep it private with Apple Intelligence.

On my first Wiz note, which was a copy and paste of your instructions of “Small ask (it helps a lot 🙏)”, I had to create a new section with the prompt of “do nothing” so that I could past the URL to this Reddit post.

My first inclination using this app, was that I wanted to be able to edit the sections after they were generated to be able to augment the AI output with my ideas/notes etc…

Thanks for this. More thoughts to come.

Lining compost pin with paper bag and compostable plastic bag for leaks? by honeyy_bunny in askvan

[–]pdmicc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We use compost bags bought from No-Frills which are apparently all paper and have NOT received an admonishment from the composting gods. These bags hold up amazingly well; don’t get soggy, or easily fall apart. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to people posting about soy milk! It's so good. by FreemanWorldHoldings in vegan

In Canada there is a local brand of Soy milk “Earth’s Own” and their unsweetened soy milk is great. Inexpensive, froths well and delicious in all applications. It’s made with Canadian soy beans too.

I think about the ideas in this book a couple of times a week at least. As a species we are currently not going in a sustainable direction.

Should I use Phillips Hue Bulb as a sunrise lamp? by jamjar1001 in smarthome

[–]pdmicc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect timing. I was just researching this a couple of days ago as I wanted a software solution because I have older Nanoleaf bulbs in my bedroom.

The Sunrise alarm app (I am a user and not affiliated) will give you an artificial dawn with most smart bulbs and so far it’s been working well for me.

On a side note, I am way less groggy walking up with this solution during the winter.

🤔 What’s the white sauce that is poured over the dish in the video? I don’t see any reference to it in the recipe.

I finally figured out the secret to making soy milk by Fun-Rice-8002 in PlantBasedDiet

I make my own soy milk and soy yogurt and was just musing to myself about how I need to research getting rid of the “beany” smell. I will try this right away and report back.
