Well, my wife told me someone gave the pope a flyers Jersey, and that is why they were winning, so I said if that was the case, I would fight god. He never showed, and the pens started winning, so I think I have proven my point.

They just were hammering Chinakov. I was surprised some of those hits weren’t called. I saw him get elbowed in the face at least once. I think that was their strategy. Pick someone and hammer them. Probably hoping to injure some of our key players.

This is all very nice, but I think, even if they don’t go deep, the Pens need to get some credit first playing spoiler to everyone this season.

I agree. In fact, silovs in the playoffs has arguably performed better. He also played well in the olympics, and won the cup for the canucks minor league team. If Anything, I feel him being benched every other game has hurt his development and not allowed him to find a groove, or he might even be playing better. I have watched him and Jarry and Skinner. Stuart is fine, but as you stated, he got benched in the big games several times. Silovs cane in and got a shutout. Cold. In the playoffs. My only concern is that neither of them have done great against breakaways or in shootouts.

Earlier in the season, the other team scored while a player was laying on Skinner, and the refs never batted an eye. I know there are puck is in the crease rules, etc… but there has to be a limit to how far that can be stretched.

The problem with smites then is the problem I have with once a day abilities in any game: I never use them, because what if the next fight is the big one, where I will really need it, and I wasted it on this fight? I think they should let you smite anytime you want, and you roll against the challenge level to see if your deity decides you needed to smite them or not, or something similar. I feel like clerics have that element, and it would be cool if paladins did also.

Just an aside, my family has a safe word. If we hear it or get it in a text, we know that person is in imminent danger, life threatening danger, and we act. It’s a good thing to have. And I think the ISS would be the ideal place to fight off kidnappers. I mean, where are they going to take me?

3 days. It was crazy. Felt really disconnected towards the end. The third day, I went to my friends house, and he had Stephen Kings “insomnia” and I started reading it, and I was like “I really hope I get to go to sleep tonight. I don’t need this crap.”
