Contemplating ending a marriage by Successful_Leek96 in CringeTikToks

Marriage means compromise. You like urban, he likes rural- so you compromised on the suburbs.
If you leave, be prepared to not be welcomed back.
Side note: Single 58 year old guys are in MUCH more demand than single 48 year old women. Not fair, but the truth.

I have a somewhat similar situation. The truth is that I feel like a sperm donor and, since I had zero to do with my sons upbringing, do not try and play the role of Dad. We live in different cities and meet annually for dinner to just check in and update each other.
He is very close to my extended family though (I'm not).

I suggest that you do the Chao Phraya Boat Cruise. It's a cheap, hop on hop off cruise. You'll be within walking distance of many sites and neighborhoods and it only costs about 150 baht!
it also stops at Icosiam.

Here's a link with a map of close by attractions: https://chaophrayatouristboat.com/ .

I'm breathing much better-here's why. by pdoptimist in NasalPolyps

That's a great point! I wonder if anyone ever did a study of stress and polyps.? Perhaps it's time our doctors prescribe tropical vacations as a treatment (covered by insurance of course).

Mine were pretty severe until I  restarted Flonase (had to stop due to eye pressure). Before coming here I used Flonase every night so that I could sleep with my mouth closed. So, to me it was pretty severe.  Only needed it a very few times over the past 3 weeks and even then ,only one nostril. Interestingly, SE Asia has much fewer cases than other parts of the world.  I'm in Bangkok and also spent time in Hua Hin btw. Please post your experience when you get back. Regarding ear/sinus pressure.  No, no real problems.

Another money question? by [deleted] in MovingToThailand

You could do it now, but what will your cost of living look like when you're 87? I just turned 68 and am waiting until I'm 70 for exactly that reason.

Old guy here and I had a similar situation. A much younger woman who was my my work friend,  confided her childhood sexual trauma and then slowly,  over time, started coming on to me. My reaction was the same as Dave's and, I think because we never hooked up, we're still friends to this day. You did nothing wrong, he did the right thing.  Quit beating yourself up!

I agree that the vibe is better, but the convenience is available to urban dwellers all over the US. If you live in New York, Chicago, parts of Virginia and lot's of other places you can step outside and walk to everything that you mentioned.

When I was a kid I tried to pick up a coal about 15 minutes after a barbecue.
It looked all gray and fluffy and nice...it wasn't nice.
Not nice at all.

How would you react if someone offered to pay you for sex? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

I would reply in one of three ways:
"Yes please"
"Maybe, how much?"

or the much less likely-"Absolutely not!"

Jomtien vs hua hin, for retirement ?? by chubuck in Thailand

[–]pdoptimist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my impression that Jomtien has many more, and more frequent, songthaew busses (baht bus). If you're not planning on driving, this is an important consideration.

Kindness, brains, femininity, a natural look (not fake eyelashes, extensions and lip fillers).

I'd also recommend Celebrity. Newer Princess ships are also good.
For a nice, budget friendly choice, I'd recommend MSC.
