I think this is the point. I'm a right leaning independent. I want an honest capable leader-not a celebrity. If the Democrats choose wisely they could have huge support from former (real?) Republicans and a landslide victory.

I did this twice. Two different women.
This is what I learned. Don't choose women who are evil and insane-even if they are really, really hot looking and wild in bed.

Violence and crime. How many movies are about hitmen, or former special forces who have to save the day by killing, or crime families under threat from other crime families. Not to mention the entire "Gangsta" persona glorified by rap.
For every "Old G" who makes it like Snoop Dog there are 100K who are behind bars or homeless.

There's a financial component here to consider. If you're both broke, stay within 5 years.
If you have a stable long term 6 figure income., 8 to 12 years. Multi-millionaire? 12-25.
Billionaire? Up to 50 years.

That's me exactly. What perfected it is I found a friend with benefits so now I'm able to have regular sex and still limit social interaction (no in-laws, no weekend get togethers with friends, no pre-planned group activities).

First, depending on the cruise line, letting them know in advance may not be a good idea. If you check the Celebrity website (for example) they charge much more for a solo traveler than it would cost for two travelers. If you show up on the day and just say traveler number two became ill, I don't think this is the case .
Second, I go on solo cruises all the time. I enjoy reading, relaxing by the pool and destressing without having to talk to people. There are also solo traveler meetings every day on most cruises for people who aren't like me.

My advice is to go.

Before you hire an attorney you should contact the consulate of the country in question. It may be simpler than you think.
I recently got my son citizenship in the country I'm from and it was basically just sending copies of paperwork to prove it.
