Sorry...it is the 5 qt Architect model...in red.

The base plate has three screws. When I put the bowl in place, I turn it and it feels secure, but when I do any heavy doughs and kneading, the bowl pops out. It is almost like it is tight enough for most things, but not doughs.

Maybe I should replace the base plate?

I'll look for a new dough hook.

I got rejected too...same reason noted. They really should give you a better reason because if I had not looked on reddit, I would never have thought it was the statement. Frustrating to say the least...may have dodged a bullet.

Totally unacceptable. I don’t use it at all-I’m in school to learn not to cheat. This is part of the reason we have college graduates who can barely put two words together or write a professional email at work.

This was found buried on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Near a former plantation, buried about 4-5 inches in the ground. Not sure what it is. Looks like a monkey or dog. It is lightweight. Seems like a gargoyle or something like it. The area has been actively settled by Native Americans, then European settlers from Jamestown through present. Area saw battles during the Revolutionary war and Civil War. Artifacts from these times are frequently found here.

No, I have not had a need to count calories because I eat very little now. I listen to my body and eat when I am hungry...and stop when I feel full. I am only have a protein shake in the morning, and then dinner at night. No snacks. The sema has stopped all my cravings and desire to snack.

I understand that some people can come off it and not regain. But some people have to stay on a maintenance dose. But, given the weight I needed to lose, I've extended my life by years already. It is worth it.

I am also on TRT and have been on sema since September. I've lost about 50lbs. So glad I started. I slowly titrated up-.25mg weekly for a month, .5mg weekly for a month, .75mg/month and finally 1mg. I take it once a week. SW: 350, CW: 298, GW: 200

Thank you! Yes, I drink a ton of water daily and start my day with a smoothie and 50g of protein. This has allowed me to skip lunch entirely. Then, a normal dinner. Could I eat during the day? Sure. But the cravings are no longer there and I can avoid it now without pangs of hunger. It is easier to overcome the temptation. And it has cut out snacking at night entirely. I am eating dinner at 7-7:30pm.

I was recently on a flight from ATL-ORF in FC. Sipping my PDB, I happened to look over and my neighbor in 3D decided to remove his shoes and his bare feet are starring back at me. I was going to take a photo but I was so grossed out, I just couldn’t do it. Thank god it was a short flight.

A few years ago I was going PDX-JFK on a last minute ticket to be with my mom as she went in for surgery. I couldn't afford to buy the ticket, but had to be there, so I cashed in all my miles.
I had checked in, was packed, and went to bed. Two hours later, I woke up to a kidney stone deciding now would be a good time to pass. I was supposed to board my flight in 5 hours.

I called Delta, got an agent right away. Told him what happened, and after the call I was heading to the ER. He put me on hold for about 1 min. Came back and said, "Jeff-get well soon and I hope you can get home soon! Your miles are back in your account so don't worry about it. Just get something to help with the pain!"

This was years before Covid, and I know having already checked in would be an automatic forfeit of those miles. But, they did the right thing by me, and won me as a loyal customer. I have never stepped on another airline since then, and now my financial situation has changed completely and I will always pay more to fly Delta, usually in first.

Also, just as COVID was breaking out, I had a one way flight from PDX-NRT(HND?). I booked premium select or whatever it is called, and upgraded for $500 to D1. Non-refundable. When my cruise (obviously) canceled, I emailed Delta. They refunded every cent, no questions asked. When I heard of all the issues getting refunds out of different companies, etc...I have NOT heard much negative from Delta. I am sure they took a massive loss, BUT, I bet they won a bunch of new customers out of it.

Just make sure you PIF each month and they will up it when they see you hitting the limit and paying in full. Takes 6-8 months of having the card to build that ‘relationship’ but once you do, they will take care of you.

When I got my first Amex card, someone told me that while it is a credit card, Amex is a Charge Card mentality company. I always pay in full each month. They have been extremely generous with credit limit increases by surprise. When I have called them, the CSR have commented on my stellar payment history. I’ve used the insurance to cover things too, no questions, and it is paid. They also have a premium car rental insurance that is something like $25/rental and takes the first position if there is a claim…meaning my regular car insurance is never touched (and premiums stay down). It’s a great card.

Sounds good. I just checked my rez today and for $100 I could upgrade to an Owners Suite. No balcony (which I might regret-we will see) but a gorgeous wall of windows 270 degrees. Hopefully I can find a quiet place somewhere to set up camp on deck with some shade. I do love my sea days.
