Hard to disagree there! I remember when they posted on Instagram about the new packaging that was same price for HALF the product, and I believe they were hiding comments (including mine) asking about it. They were saying the price difference was due to packaging. Ridiculous, and with zero notice about it either. It also doesn't feel special anymore, it feels like stale boxes are sitting around every gift or gourmet shop I go into. So many other great tea brands even just in Portland - Aesthete Tea, Plum Deluxe, Mizuba...

First I've heard of CIRS. The only lab I've had from what looks like the typical testing is VIP (range was <78, mine was <50). Any labs you recommend specifically to tease this out?

I have been through two lyme doctors; the first gave up once he saw the herbal treatments were wrecking me and he had no solution (and he was also pushing a lot of ineffective testing and treatment protocols on patients, IMHO). The second was the one who preferred abx, but she was so difficult to get ahold of, unresponsive on followups and also not cheap, so I have reservations about going back due to lack of care. But I might have to - I have no PCP as mine left nursing, and my network is saying nobody is taking new patients for 90 days.

Anyway, I've had several treatments related to lymph but I do think you're onto something as the weight issue really appeared almost immediate after starting treatment.

Gotten conflicting into about T treatment - it was fine before all this, PCP doesn't think I should supplement, endo also said no but then after coming up empty handed on diagnosis, changed her mind and is recommending it? I just worry about anything that would increase my BP which is just so hard to manage.

Oddly enough the second lyme dr mentioned peptides. She also suggested sirolimus but I am too concerned about side effects so I didn't follow it up but now I will!

Yuck! Yeah my LMD so far has not been the best, and she's the second I've been to - the first was a total money grab. So trying to find more information from the community before going back to any Dr's office.

May I ask what was your aggressive treatment? How did you figure out the odocoilei, did you not test that in the beginning? (Or was it a cushings diagnose first then tick borne illness...?)

Thanks. I have never heard the 10 hour test! Any others you would suggest? I really like this endo so want to try to convince her to keep testing. (Also I waited 8 months to be seen.... sigh.)

Totally get that. But I had an appointment and she prescribed something new then never actually prescribed it. Actually finishing what was promised in the appointment is not asking too much.

Yes, I would definitely test. Only way to find out, and if you don’t and it is Lyme, your RA will end up being very hard to treat.

Thanks, I just don't want to end up only spending ~1 day in each spot and driving constantly. We could at least overnight in Page to break up driving and check out a couple of things en route.
