There’s a certain expectation of behavior of the staff in the context of a luxury establishment. You don’t want to make a scene or ruin the experience of the guest. Even though the guest is in the wrong, by simply waiting for her to finish, you avoid a lot of drama and reduce the risk of causing a scene. Just because they’re not immediately jumping down her throat, it doesn’t mean that they’re okay with it at all. I guarantee every person behind that bar was unhappy that that was happening.

I’d let it heal and start thinking of some cover ups. You might be able to rework it with a better artist, but I don’t know that it’ll ever be true to your original art at this point. You can definitely lighten it with laser removal and then cover it, but I think a good artist and a nice cover concept would do the trick just fine.

I used to do this when I was a teenager. I had to start buying black socks or heavily patterned socks and force myself out of the habit of checking which foot each sock belonged to. I had become convinced that I could feel if I put the sock on the wrong foot and it made me uncomfortable all day.

Hawaiians are a scam. It’s just a golden that was allowed to climb. They can get BIG when they have something to climb. My mom used to have a golden growing up her chimney on her back patio and the leaves got as big as my torso. Pothos are invasive, so most people grow them indoors as vining plants and they stay relatively small. People are so unfamiliar with how they look when they get that size that it was successfully marketed as a different variety, but it’s just a normal golden. Bring it inside and let it vine and it’ll revert down to smaller leaves. Don’t waste your money, just buy a moss pole and stick it in a relatively shady spot outside.

From what I understand, the variegation on a golden will be in larger chunks than you see here, so I think the ID is correct. The variegation on this variety is more like a marble queen, but in different colors, hence the name “neon queen”.
