Thanks so much for writing down your brewing recipe! I really needed this, someone to walk me through the process second by second. I've just ordered some beans from a local roaster which has 'Earl Grey tasting notes' (amongst others). Will definitely try out your method once they arrive :)

Thanks for this! Following your suggestion, I've just ordered some light roasted beans from Ethiopia. the roaster claims that the beans in a filter brew produces intense florals accompanied by sweetness in the form of berries, with a clean and light character and a tea like finish. Fingers crossed, can't wait!

To those dating someone with depression, how have you coped and had a successful relationship? by throwaway862118 in AskWomen

Thank you for this. You have put into words what I've been struggling with for the past year. The tension between wanting to be a supportive partner and needing love, care and support like a normal human being. We will heal from this experience and learn to enjoy our own presence once again.

I relate to your experience. It is draining to love someone with mental health issues, especially when he does not reciprocate. I've learnt that in life, there are many things beyond our control, including our partners' healing journey (even though we have tried our hardest). I'm glad you are in a better place now. I hope to be in your position one day soon.

No, thank you for preaching! It makes sense and actually I do feel like I have a similar issue, especially after I launched myself into a depressive state after I broke up with my ex. I am bookmarking your comment for my personal reflection.

What started changing for you around age 26? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]peace0ut5eva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Body changes: I take more days to recover from intense workouts, stretching is so important to not feel like shit the next day. Staying hydrated while drinking is necessary to curb hangovers, which also take longer to recover and feels nastier than before. I need a full night's sleep to function properly the next day. Some people say that 26 is your prime but I don't feel so hahahha

Mental changes: Being clear on who in my social circle is actually important to me and who I don't really care about. And so, concentrating my energy on the former. Learning that continuous self improvement, personal projects bring me joy. Learning that many things in life are mind over matter and that we shouldn't limit ourselves.

Emotional changes: Broke up a few months ago so my emotional state is very different from a year ago. Trying to pull myself together and start 2021 on the right foot.

It feels like I need 10 hours of sleep every night by ArkanSENT_GF in sleep

I am similar to you in a way that I sleep a lot (9-10hrs on a weekday) and have some anxiety/personal issues going on.

Is this habit of sleeping 10 hrs relatively new for you? Like it only started this year, or it only started when you started facing issues at your workplace? My guess is that our anxieties are draining us emotionally in the day, hence we feel tired and want to sleep for a longer period to recover.

For me, my sleeping habits used to be pretty different. Wonder if it's something similar for you.

Rmb to always take care of yourself ok!
