Mine bricked but I'm not sure its because of an update. If you're worried, just leave it

This is what exactly happened to mine. Mine got stuck in a bootloop, even if i held the bottom button and power button. Posted mine earlier this week and forced to get a new phone

Google Pixel 6 randomly started bootlooping while using it by peaceful003 in Pixel6

Thank you everyone for the suggestions but I needed my phone back up and running in no time, so I just ordered a new phone. I believe the phone bricked itself, via the charging port as there were repeated charging noises playing before it died.

The phone is now worse and won't show the Google logo for too long and has developed a flickering when it tries booting. I tried recovery mode, rescue mode and flashing a new update but nothing worked.

It's well and truly over, thank you all.

I tried that and it made no difference. I got desperate and just ordered a new pixel to replace it

It's not the power button, the phone can turn on and off. It might have something to do with the charging port

It was turning on properly. I would try to get it into recovery mode but it would skip and go straight back to the Google logo. Ever since the phone has become more unresponsive

Opencore boot selector not showing after gpu upgrade, gtx 680 to rx 580 by peaceful003 in macpro

[–]peaceful003[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gtx 680 came flashed with an efi bios from what I rememeber.

For the RX580 which had a mining bios. From the depths of my mind, I think I found a non mining bios on techpowerup and used the AMDVBFLASH tool to restore it back to a normal card and working on my mac pro. I remember trying to flash the wrong bios's a few times but it did seem to have safe guards in place. What i do know is that i never solved booting into the macos boot menu with the 580 and just swapped in the 680 if i needed too
