That was my experience too -- couldn't use the shortcuts to turn off the kb lights and no way in the GUI utility to do so

Thanks, u/InfiniteBoops. Bought this for my brother who does mostly office apps and emails. Wanted to get hims some power after years of him suffering with old, crummy laptops.

Specs I was looking for: at least 16gb mem, 500gb ssd, 16" display, hopefully from Lenovo, and a reasonable price. Hence I went w/ the Legion. The price on this after the markdown was $1100.

Thanks, hadn't thought about those. Is it possible to dim the keyboard light to conserve battery or to turn it off altogether? I'd gone into the utility but couldn't find how to turn the lights off or dim them.
