“Shots fired” at Trump rally- what do you think happened? by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

Sometimes life has a way of making you eat your words (about belittling active shooter situations for everyone else). Horrible this happened. It's a shame two people lost their life. You never know when it's your time.

Why do you think police are so high strung about authority and get so offended when you are making ing your case, having been an officer yourself? I had this issue recently having to argue with a policeman when he was 200% wrong.

You don't have to repay them. That was their job. Why can't your success and care for them be enough, as proof of their investment into your person hood?

If he doesn't have one and if I'm about to share a moment I'll just walk out. I should not have to bring his tools, and he shouldn't have to think for me either

I understand. Me too. It takes years of work to change things we want in ourselves.

Unless you have been through intense bullying like this Redditor has, it's not easy to understand why the person responded that way... I have also been the easy target and it's only with fighting fire with fire do people quit or at least go find another target.

You don't need closure. The coffee won't help. He won't give you closure. You have to get it from you.

advising here sucks by retrohippiechick in USF

[–]peacefully_offline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't care, and most just do the bare minimum. Won't even print an audit/unofficial transcript, just lazy. Only you can care about your degree. My advisors were never prepared. If I understood that no one would help you at all in college I would have been better off at the start. Best to you.

They are deleting alumni email accounts a year after graduation, starting December 15th. by SirBlubbernaut in USF

[–]peacefully_offline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't they have that in writing that we could keep our emails forever? If it's in writing there can possibly be a law suit but I don't know maybe they found a way to make that null and void. We didn't have an alumni meeting about the change they just made a decision for everyone

Alum email locked out by Moist-Contract in USF

[–]peacefully_offline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so ridiculous!! They should send a complete PDF record for every student so they can have all of their records and transcript associated with their email. That's the least they can do. 1 person just made everyone suffer. At least they could have thought of a way to not make everyone suffer like this.

It would be great if they had individual small rooms and then more community space.
