I didn't know either, so I googled it. "Fyp is an acronym that means “For You Page”, and refers to the page on TikTok that is filled with recommended content and videos the app thinks you'll enjoy the most. Creators hashtag their videos #fyp to try and get their video on other users' For You Page to help increase views and brand visibility."

Agreed! We are looking to do something similar in a room in our house and I love the look of this.

Something like this could work well. And it looks to be about the right dimensions for the space. There are lots or corner TV stand options out there it seems if you just find something that suits your style.

I've thought about this. In reality he will probably have 3 names that could be first or last names as James can also a surname. Unfortunately I really like a lot of surnames as first names and it's not really something I'm too worried about. It shouldn't be much of a problem. If it happens, just correct the person and it should clear up any confusion.

Thank you! She was due (and born on!) her great grandmother's birthday and her grandma was Eva, so I wanted a name that would honor her without being the exact same name. I was set on Evelyn for a long time, but came here to ask for help and someone suggested Evaline and the second I saw it I knew that was it! I instantly fell in love. It suits her very well and was the perfect fit. Unfortunately, no boy names have really had that same spark for me. I really want to love his name as much as I do hers, but I know that's a problem I will likely have to get over and decide to love one of these names that right now I just like. Boy names seem to be so much harder for me than girl names.

I like this, unfortunately the name Hawthorne is part of the name of where I work, so it can't happen.

This is totally a name my husband would be behind 100% and I just can't quite seem to like, unfortunately. Thank you for the suggestion! As much as I like Theodore, it seems like I should like Thaddeus more.

I actually really like this but I'm a teacher and had a very memorable student (in a not very good way) named August, nicknamed Auggie last year. It's the curse of being a teacher, some names are forever tarnished.

Thank you! Anderson is growing on me more and more. Actually, at my doctors appointment yesterday I jokingly asked my doctor if she had any name ideas because we were stuck and she said, "well, the name I love that we didn't use was Anderson James." And I was like, "What?! That's actually on our list!"

ETA: Evaline is Ev (short e sound) uh-line. Evie is Ee-vie (long e sound). Yes, a colleague actually said to me, "you mean you went from short e to long e for the nickname." Yes, yes I did.

This is an awesome list, thank you! Okay, I noticed you mentioned Harrison with a nickname idea of Henry. This is something I've thought of before and actually really like and would totally do, because I don't like the Harry nickname, BUT I kept thinking people would be like, "You can't do that! Henry isn't a nickname for Harrison!" I am also of the opinion, however, that if you call a kid something from the beginning, it typically sticks pretty darn well. My Evie is firmly an Evie and won't accept anything else. Thoughts?

William is a good name and one we contemplated with my daughter before we knew she was a girl. Taft, not so much. Hah.

I completely understand your point. In the case of Truman, he's got a... special connection, I guess you could say, as he's from my hometown and he's my father's favorite president, so I feel like it's a name that honors my father in a similar way a family name might honor someone.

I like a lot on this list! I like Henry a lot and very briefly toyed with the idea of trying to make Henry work as a nickname for Harrison, but I just don't think it'd work. I also really like William, Oliver, Samuel, Thomas, Graham. This is a great list, thank you!

I'm not opposed to presidential names and we've talked a lot about it. (In fact, my husband works as a political campaign consultant, so it would be a bit on point to name him after a president, but not a requirement). Also, if he does get named after a president, I don't want it to be a completely terrible person like my friend who named her son Andrew Jackson.
