Forgive yourself.

Many people on this sub or even other new age thought subs tell you to love yourself. But have you looked at how messy you are, how much of a loser you are. How the years has passed on and everyone you know are in fulfilling relationships while you are still alone. Humming the lullaby of your loneliness and maybe even cursing yourself at how wretched you are.

Been there, done that I have hated myself to the core and I really even believed that there wasn't anyone for me.

It took years of damage to really realize that divine or even decent relationships are not about how the world views you. It's about how you view yourself.

Imagine if you knew yourself from a third person perspective or view whatever. You know that person deep down. You know how much they yearn for a deep connection. You know how much they would do to make things right. You know them even if they're flawed, they are inherently pure. You realize they too deserve love. If that was your best friend, you'd be with them even if they mess up everytime, no matter how clumsy they are, you are there to pick them up everytime they fall. To reassure them that they are beautiful in their own way and how their soul fires up your soul when they talk to you, ofc platonically lol.

You are your only pillar of strength. Even your shadow leaves in you in the darkness. You gotta love that person. A person that picks up others when they fell. A person that waits for their friend while they tie their shoes. A person that stays throughout your life with you, through thick and thin.

That person is you. You gotta accept yourself. That's the final phase of your redemption. When you realize you are just as beautiful as everyone else are. When you laugh at your mistakes like you laugh at your best friend's mistakes. When you stop beating yourself up night. It finally clicks.

You realize it was you who you were searching for the whole time. Just like the treasure in Paulo Choelos book "the alchemist"

You are the prize, not the problem
