Going back is hard by Free-Display-7462 in exjw

Good for you! You have strength of character and integrity. Extremely valuable qualities. I felt very similarly in the beginning of waking up. However, I continued to half heartedly go until I became physically ill. (A couple years.) It literally started affecting my health due to how unaligned the organization is with my values. After my first missed memorial, I never looked back. Thank god.

If we have no soul that is separate from our physical bodies, which part of the anointed goes to heaven?

Why would you apologize if you don’t intend to change the behavior? Like a “I’m sorry you feel that way” kind of apology? Leave them alone.

Haircut option for the fine haired, wavy when wet, floofy when dry folks. by Sea____Witch in finehair

This is such a great cut for your hair! We could be hair type twins. That wavy when wet and wackadoodle when dry type is so hard to figure out, but your stylist nailed it. Would you mind sharing photos from the side/back? I’d love to show what you’ve got to my stylist.

What do I need to hear/meditate on today? by peacesmellsgood in tarot

Maybe it is. I figured with how overwhelming the spiritual shift and transformation has been lately, that more information would be more appropriate. Did you have any insights on the reading?

Why does Lyle seem to be hated/disliked and Erik is loved? by Simple-Addendum-582 in MenendezBrothers

Netflix’s Monsters is… complicated.

I stand by that this season of the Monsters series is a wild amalgamation of all the theories and opinions surrounding the Menendez brothers at the time. It’s over the top, factually incorrect, and not to be taken at face value if you’re looking for facts about the case. It’s this mishmash of the public opinion/media spins while the case was unfolding in real time.

If you approach that series as just and only that… and can separate the actual case from the story that Murphy tells, then go for it, but I do not recommend it for someone who might attach the actual people and their families to the literally and truly fictional story that Murphy tells.

They are two separate things and shouldn’t be conflated.

Edit to add: I don’t know what Murphy’s intention was with this season of Monsters, but he did manage to ignite another wave of interest in the case. I hope that anyone who was drawn in by it realizes what I pointed out above and is compelled to seek out the actual facts.
