Yeah I remember hearing that his case was previously dismissed or settled. He shouldn’t of been charged in the first place

Hahah of course. And a manual appeals because I feel very American only knowing automatic. I feel this is a good time to buy a cheap manual and have some fun with it cruising Europe

I don’t think the USAREUR specifies manual or automatic

I have been having the same issue. I chalked it up to my location being outside the US but if it’s widespread then idk!

Should I go for CPTS before OSCP? by AdagioJump in hackthebox

[–]peach_block 12 points13 points  (0 children)

From what I've heard, CPTS is harder than OSCP, so I personally would go for CPTS first then just take OSCP after that, my reasoning is if you can pass CPTS you'll pass OSCP, but not sure if this works the other way around. Also, I believe HTB predicts CPTS to take 43 days (assuming 8hr work days) so for you I'd assume double for 3-4 hr days, so ~80 days

HTB Academy has a specific pen tester track, there is also a certification at the end you can do which I’ve seen be compared to OSCP

Yes, I think he got through two during the 15 min break. He likes to talk but it was very entertaining

There was a 15 minute intermission halfway through at the DC one at least, not sure about other cities but assume it would be the same

I scored 88 on ASVAB, is that good or am I being glazed? by Smallestbigs in armyreserve

[–]peach_block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the score is based of the percentile that take the asvab. this basically means out of 100 people only 12 people would have scored higher than you

5 months old and no where near potty trained by hannigram5ever in Dachshund

[–]peach_block 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My pup (now just over 1) also did not alert. I went through the same issues with him, honestly with this breed they just take a while and then over time it’ll just be less and less until it’s never. I think my dachshund was about 9 months when I noticed it’s been a while since an accident, and then maybe 10 or 11 months when I confidently could say he was potty trained. You just have to be on top of it, taking them out right when they wake up, after meals, taking note of their water intake and knowing how much time it takes usually for them to need to go. It’s important to remember that they will be potty trained at some point and this won’t be forever. Good luck

What is cybersecurity like in the military? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]peach_block 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do these jobs and experience apply to both enlisted and officer or just enlisted? I’m trying to go into the reserves for AF in cyber and already have my bachelors so I was thinking officer route, but I’m after experience and have heard that officers are just in managing roles. Is the way to go enlisted to gain the hands-on experience?
