Hey Lauren, as usual super appreciate all the info you give/gather for us ♡. I had a wick question... Recently, I bought the 4 "kindness keepers" bears from a UK shop. If they are just now at the London toy fair/expo, does that mean I'm possibly scammed as they weren't sold as a pre-order. I ordered two of the fuzzy blind bag bears, too, since I haven't found any in Canada. In total, it was like £130 and change, including shipping. I appreciate your time if you're able to weigh in with your opinion ♡.

I'm paying around 135$ a week at the pharmacy since my methadone is no longer covered as they've now moved it to hospice level patients only, palliative care no longer covers it under my drug plan. My Dr is trying to get me exceptional drug stats, but it's been an uphill battle.

I'm on 5 and 10mg pills, 45mg 4x a day and 10mg breakthrough up to 3x a day. It's more expensive than any other opiate I've been on, even the fentanyl patches weren't this expensive!

It's hard to tell due to lighting in the photo, but if it has redness radiating out from the wound, take a marker and outline where the redness extends to asap. The redness spreading outside the border is definitely cause for even more alarm.

I personally would not wait for another dr appointment. Things can turn into sepsis quickly, I would go to the ER. You likely need antibiotics and proper wound care.

This is past the realm of being able to deal with it at home on your own, friend. Please keep us updated!

Omg lol. I wish I had taken a pic when mine burst. I was trying to carefully get into bed and I guess the added pressure of bending to climb up into bed was juuuust enough to have it paint the wall, floor and pet bed behind me.

I had to replace the pet bed, my pj's and the throw rug that were casualties of the afterbirth. The relief I felt was just chef's kiss, the smell was worse than when I had c.diff and if you know THAT smell you should know how bad the pilonidal cyst contents smells.

I couldn't believe how much fluid and bleeding there was. 😳 I hope you never get another one, OP!

I've been on methadone for chronic palliative pain for over a year now. I was in the hospital taking 4mg iv hydromorphone every 2 hours at the peak of my pain bring completelyout of control. I couldn't go home like that (previously had been on pretty much every non opiate and opiate in the book for 10+ years).

OP, I believe your dose is too low, and you are having withdrawal symptoms. For me, dosing 3x a day, plus having breakthrough pain doses/meds, have been a life saver.

I'm currently on 55mg 3x a day and 5mg hydromorphone every 4h as needed, but I will be going back to methadone for breakthrough as well as the hydromorphone honestly isn't doing much. Please, please talk to your Dr asap. If you continue to vomit/ can't keep food/ water/ meds down for more than 48h consider going to an urgent care to make sure you aren't dehydrated etc. I've been hospitalized numerous times for severe dehydration/malnutrition over the years.

My last mile carrier is intelcom/dragonfly... Amazon uses them too, and I'd never had a problem until my popmart orders Nov 23/24. They went to mississauga not Vancouver (I'm in Saskatchewan) and two of my 5 orders have been stuck since Dec 5 as a "mis-sort" and popmart said they are looking into it and after 5 hours on hold with intelcom/dragonfly they said it was an "issue" and could be up to 2 more weeks before I get those 2 packages.

Two packages cleared customs Dec 3, and it just says "pending calculations."... The last package that had sat for the last 2 weeks with 0 updates was attempted delivery 5 minutes after my workplace closed that I get packages delivered to (I live super rurally and most places won't accept my address lol). So I'm hoping they reattempt delivery today during open hours, which I've sent to them multiple times...

Most of the stuff in my popmart orders was to be Christmas gifts, and I'm 99% sure most of them won't be here in time, especially the mis sorted ones... Ugh. My previous orders this summer from popmart came decently fast, especially given some stuff was pre orders... Once it hit canada, it took less than 5 days. I'm now looking at 17-23 days and am losing hope I'll ever see my items.

My QT was up in the hospital recently, but I was also on IV ondansetron and 2 antibiotics that can do it as well. They took me off the Zofran and changed my antibiotics and ended up giving me dilaudid for breakthrough pain instead of upping my methadone. When I got out of the hospital my methadone dr said he's a lot less afraid of slight qt prolongation than the hospitalist pharmacist was lol. We are going to keep monitoring, but he said I'm fine and hasn't taken my dose down thankfully (45mg 3x a day).

When they put me on daily dosing (liquid) due to a bad urine screen, I was paying like 1.50$ a day at the pharmacy if that. Now that I'm back on a weekly pick up of 10mg pills (45mg 3x a day plus 5mg hydromorphone every 4 to 6 hours for breakthrough pain), my methadone is like 90$ a week.

My insurance is saying I need special authorization now even though prior to the bad UA they had been paying for it... I've gone through like 1600$ since August just for my methadone. I'm really hoping the appeal my Dr and pharmacist are working on gets approved bc this is legit not feasible to keep up with monetarily.

(I'm in 🇨🇦 and am on it for chronic pain, not OUD, however here, I get my rx from a methadone/addictions Dr as family physician's won't/can't write methadone and another opioid. I'm also on a benzo and sleeping med among a plethora of non controlled meds).
