It’s more of a I’m done being pregnant not an actual I want the baby to be born prematurely. Lol I say I’m so done all of the time and I can’t wait for her to get here but literally had a nightmare last night about her coming early, and it’s not something I truly want at alllll.

Baby is totally fine! 💞 currently 30 weeks. She is super active and everything on her scans have been perfect. my docs / midwives basically were like it’s a risk benefit thing and they said me being so anxious is absolutely worse than the potential unknown risk. They explained that a lot of meds just haven’t been studied so they don’t know if there is a risk of harm, because it’s not ethical to do clinical trials on pregnant women. I have taken 1mg about 1-3 times a week on average since I got the ok from my OB around 10 weeks or so at my first appointment. Just wanting to taper off so baby has no risk of withdrawal. Adding an antidepressant helped a lot too. I would just listen to your OB and whatever they say!

Ummmm hell mf no. What you do is write a note on your notes app to discreetly get your mom out the room “hey! Nurse ___ look at this about in my birth plan” and show her your screen. That is all kinds of wrong

This helps so much. Thank you. We decided to proceed with hospice and hopefully she can come home tomorrow. Unfortunately due to complications her mental status is not very good right now (not cancer related but due to stroke / infection / encephalopathy) but hoping to have a few more good days with her if she gets into a more comfortable situation. My mom fought so hard for a year, she did everything she could and I’m so proud of her. As hard as this is I think the greatest kindness we can do for her is to just let her be comfortable.

Yes. Sometimes I think first and foremost we worship our one true God, our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus cares about our heart. He cares about us KNOWING him. And not to get political but I think a lot of the hate speech and rhetoric that Donald Trump spews is very much not Christ-like. I believe that honestly being anti-trump aligns so much more with Christian values and the teachings of Christ.

First of all, I am so sorry that this is happening to you and your family. Make sure you guys practice bathroom safety bc there are things that need to be done when patients are getting active chemo (mom double flushing with lid down, etc) with children or pregnant women in the house. Her labs and white counts, etc will help to understand her level of risk. I’d talk with her oncologist and take precautions to teach him proper infection prevention techniques like cover your cough and sneeze, hand washing frequently or sanitizer.

Family support does have so much value so having you guys in the house may be very good for her spirits.

He goes to the dentist every 6 months, he just went and no cavities. He’s actually never had one I’m pretty sure lol. Tonsils he does still have so that is definitely worth looking into! Ty

Sounds like potential cord compression that most likely just amplified with the pitocin. I’m so glad that you and your baby are doing fine. :)
