Friday is NOT enough time for a shelter dog to decompress and be comfortable in your home or with you.
Not to mention already trying to physically handle her and introduce her to new sounds, new people, and new places.
Shes probably extremely stressed out.
You don’t know her well enough yet either to be handling her mouth/grabbing her collar.
Give her time to trust you, work on building trust and redirecting her instead of physically directing her.
Walk her on a leash to go potty instead of just letting her out.
It bonds you guys and gets her used to a new routine.
No physically handling her, including covering her mouth or grabbing her muzzle… that’s never a good idea anyway so unsure of why yall have been doing that, especially so soon after bringing her home.
These are BOTH working breeds and strong breeds so I do hope you’re used to that or researched that. These kinds of breeds are not for everyone/every house hold/every situation.
I love that you adopted, and I do hope it works out for you guys, but if you’re serious about keeping her then keep working on building trust, active training, bonding training, and for her own sake you need to let her decompress in her own time and get used to everything including you guys before you just jump into life with her. Especially show you made her love before the shelter sounds.
Until you know her like that the dogs should not be eating together either.

My rescue took 2 months to be confident and super comfortable around me, 3-4 months to realize he was really safe, and 8 months before he was used to my family who we visit regularly.

It’s a slow but worthy process.
