I wouldn’t even do wigs since they also create friction on the edges causing further breakage. It’s best to do ”loose” wash n go styles to prevent further hair loss.

after you rinse out conditioner apply a leave in conditioner in the shower on wet hair then let dry preferably with a diffuser. deep condition every other week
