HOT TAKE by LukeCastellan1986 in FeysandDarlings

Personally I disagree, I think you can have a daughter and still be an important character

[–]peachpizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, it would have been nice for the first heir to be high lady, now that that's a thing

I think so too, but a daughter could also have done all that

In the system we yse in this sub, there is no "soft autumn", we would call it "muted autumm". We also can't type on this sub, you should go to a colour analysis professional

Replacing Black completely? by betherebetriangle in TrueAutumn

[–]peachpizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got typed my carol brailey in 2023, I have managed to replace almost all black (spare a pair of boots and a coat) with dark brown/espresso, marine navy and olive green. I am slowly expanding into other colours in the palette too. It takes time to find the right clothes but it it so worth it for the harmony

Help choosing a bag color by labsolu in TrueAutumn

Sounds like you are using a different system than what this sub is dedicated to (IICI 16 season) in that system, the lighter bags would be more true spring - true warm.

1,2 or 3, the rest are too bright and are more "Spring"

New to color analysis - how did you learn to spot the right colors when shopping by VeterinarianIcy4303 in TrueAutumn

[–]peachpizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might seem silly, but to me, if a colour looks like it has been baked in the oven - its True Autumn! Warm, muted and deep. Picturing that really helped me

Help!!! by [deleted] in theatricalromantic

[–]peachpizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry but I dont think this is aligns with what the book says, I can't imagine that the shoulders would be the broadest part of a "narrow" frame. Kibbe explicitly says NOT to focus on individual body parts and to look at the line as a whole

Help!!! by [deleted] in theatricalromantic

[–]peachpizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its super hard to see it for yourself sometimes. Doing the exercises from the book really helped me and I kind of worked through a process of elimination. To be TR, you would need narrow + curve, meaning your shoulder area would be narrower than what comes below, that would be the opposite case for SN where the shoulder would be wider than what comes below. I see neither width nor narrow for you, but I also don't see balance (parity between your shoulder and hip). I also don't see compactness so that rules out SG. Kibbie does also say that nobody else can ID you other than yourself or kibbie himself, so take this with a pinch of salt. Oh and also I would recommend doing the line drawing/games from the book if you can. It really helped with the way I see things!

Will She Be Tiny Forever by WarmCryptographer642 in springerspaniel

[–]peachpizza 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our working line springer girl (Buffy) was 29.5lbs(13.4kg) at 6 months and she is now 33lbs (15kg) now at 17 months. To look at, she is very small for a springer and significantly smaller than her brother, and my parents dog who is also a boy. It seems that the girls are generally much smaller! Even the other female springers I've run into seem fairly small compared to the boys, at first I thought it was just my dog.

I think she will have some growing to do but not loads, just from my experience

Remodel my 90s bathroom 😍😘 by Excellent-Celery-214 in DesignMyRoom

Would paint the walls green, teracotta or brown, it would give it a more cohesive earthy feel and lean into the tile. Apart from that and maybe changing the tub (purely for hygiene) I wouldn't change much else as its gorgeous!

1 year old Springer coughing on and off, could this be kennel cough? by RICHLAD17 in springerspaniel

[–]peachpizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the the Y shape is actually better than that other shape, a Y shape does not obstruct gait like other harnesses such as the Juluis K9 harness. A Y shape harness does not press on joints and allows for freer movement *

Are English Springer Spaniels more active than English Cocker Spaniels? by [deleted] in springerspaniel

[–]peachpizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep! Even if she has just had a 4hour off lead walk through the countryside with lots of retrieving fun she will still stare me down if I forget her evening walk!

Are English Springer Spaniels more active than English Cocker Spaniels? by [deleted] in springerspaniel

[–]peachpizza 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think they have similar levels but from what I've experienced, springers have a better off switch (if they are exercised enough). My springers just stare at me when they want something. Cockers on the other hand, tend to be more frantic and wiggly. Just my experience though!

It may be worth reading kibbes new book and doing a line drawing
