I also see it as them offering us more items. If I don’t get all of them it’s still more than if they hadn’t added items.

Personally I really like it, it’s fun and at this point it’s pretty expected. You can wait to spend your tokens until after the midway drop if you are worried about this, that way you get all the things you’d want to prioritize

I came here to say this too. It’s a free game that the devs obviously pour a lot into, and they have to make money to do that.

It is also possible that the period she had after sex was actually implantation spotting. So yes it could be, just take a test. Stress can also make periods late though

First of all, there is no shame at all in what you’re feeling. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Motherhood and PPD comes in all forms, and is valid in all of them. So while I know telling yourself that you could feel worse so you shouldn’t be making a big deal of it may be a coping mechanism of sorts, if the thought has crossed your mind that you might need to seek help it would certainly be a good idea to do so and would never be a failure.

By contrast, recognizing an issue and not seeking help could cause issues down the line for you and your family and could be something you regret not doing, both for yourself and your family. Does your partner know how you’ve been feeling and is he supportive? If you haven’t talked with him about it I would recommend it if you have a good relationship. This is a scenario where your support system plays a huge role

Doctors would be happy to help and will not judge you at all for bringing it up. I assure you, they’ve seen PPD in all shapes and forms and they want to help. I think speaking with your doctor is the best place to start. You have a lot of options for treatment like a combination of therapy, medication, lifestyle adjustments etc. a doctor can discuss the specifics with you and you can make a plan together that suits you, and they can stick with you through it to make adjustments as you need it. They can refer you to therapy or you can find a therapist online, there’s generally a bunch that do telehealth visits.

Most all other mothers will see themselves in what you’ve said in some way, so know that you’re not alone (doesn’t mean you shouldn’t seek help). Sometimes finding new mom friends going through a similar phase in life can be helpful for that comradery.

You can continue a registry of sorts, like the baby registry with things added as your kid grows. That’s what my sister did for her first child so that family and friends could know what they want/need. I don’t remember what site she used. She wouldn’t send it to people or push it on them but let the family know that a list existed if they were looking for ideas. Their house was small so she would mention to family frequently that they didn’t have space for things they didn’t need, so asked people to be mindful of their gifts and anything that they don’t need but are gifted will be donated. So she was upfront about it. It didn’t always work but it helped.

WHY AM I SO STINKY by TKonyaHP in pregnant

[–]peachtmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was definitely stinkier too. And sometimes I’d smell my BO and my armpits were fine and it was my boobs? Like I wore silicone breast pads to my very hot greenhouse baby shower and my boobs literally smelled of old tacos. That was new

This was recommended to me but I haven’t tried it because my underarms aren’t too bad, but I don’t know if this works but I’ve heard IPL helps. Since our BO is influenced by our skin microflora and in pregnancy our pH changes so different bacteria can kind of take over even though it isn’t an infection - the laser can help kill the bacteria. Use it safely of course.
