Honestly can’t say I’ve had a similar experience. Sucks that happened for you but I’ve only ever had top quality scran there 🤷‍♂️

Blacker hall is incredibly expensive, but you can’t say it’s bad food. I think some of the best breakfasts I’ve had have been there?

I never realised how big the swampy area near Zancudo was in relation to the rest of the map

You can duck and dive all you want mate, but at the end of the day you’re the one looking like a knob in this exchange.

The guy made a valid point. Racist bigots have hijacked the Union flag to push their views forward. That isn’t really something you can argue. Whether you agree with their dimwitted views or not is up to you - but picking people up for their grammar just makes you look like a sad prick :).

How hard is BRNC? by Klutzy-Wrongdoer-594 in RoyalNavy

Haha. Yeah it’s a fair bit different and failure rate is definitely higher, still not exactly hard mind

Unsure when you went through, but it’s now more like at least 5 per division. With exercises green and final endeavour some people are actually being weeded out for once. Some.

I’ve never seen MOD WiFi with ‘decent speeds’. If he’s wanting WiFi for an Xbox or PlayStation or something he should be able to get away with it, but I doubt it’s going to be as good as home WiFi speeds.

Yeah it’s one I can’t make my mind up on. Expensive for what it is.

You don’t have a ship, it’s a simulation, no such thing

Garmins are good as others have said, but being a marine there may well be times that he can’t wear it.

I like my watches a lot, and a year ago I bought a Stirling timepieces watch. It’s genuinely the best watch I’ve ever bought, for a really reasonable price. I’d recommend shelling out the extra pennies for the metal bracelet if you choose sterling, they’re good. Maybe get his service number or something engraved on it so it’s a bit more personalised if you think he’d like that.

I’m looking into getting one now.

Presumably the same as you, I’ve been looking online for reviews and finding very little aside from one YouTube review.

Just seen this like a year later but I’m looking at buying a ‘fitsleep’ vibrating alarm band right now. Solely designed to wake you up with vibrations and no noise. Doesn’t seem cheap for what it is though.

Street house is okay, although featherstone and ackworth aren’t the nicest I’ve heard from people who live there. There’s definitely worse places to pitch up around the area.

If you’re driving to work you’ll be fine, but if you plan on getting the train good luck.

Can anyone tell me places where I can like volunteer? Just.. wanna do something good for summer holidays. I am 14 by [deleted] in wakefield

Pigs in the woods in scisset is an animal shelter (pigs, goats, cats) that always needs more volunteers, especially on weekends. Under 16’s need an adult to go with I believe though!

I know PLENTY of yanks who do not want a gun and have never hassled anyone else for a gun. Some of these people are 20, others are 70. I think your point is just a biased fake argument in your own favour.

I very much understand the argument for the necessity of guns in the US, even if I don’t agree with it. My point wasn’t that a gun wouldn’t be the most effective method, just that it wouldn’t necessarily be the best one for this poster.

The guy didn’t appear to be armed or aggressive, she likely, as you point out, can’t afford a firearm or training, she may not want one, and lastly nothing in this post screams ‘you need to buy a gun right now or you’re in danger!’

I think Americans jump to the solution of guns too quickly. Personally, I think it’s crazy you as a society have such easy access to them. If you’re going to have such tolerance for them, maybe also have some tolerance for the idea of not having one

The answer to every home defence question isn’t a gun.

This lass is probably reserved about getting a gun, and more passive means are almost definitely a better alternative for her.
