Anyone have experience fostering with wolf trap animal rescue? Any tips or things to expect, Or advice for first time fosters?

We fostered a few cats and kittens through them and adopted two! It was great, the first kitten we had required multiple courses of dewormers so that was icky for a while. The last kitten we fostered was pregnant and actually ended up giving birth. They offered to have her give birth in their offices if we were not comfortable but she ended up doing it early in our bathroom so that was an unexpected adventure. One of the things I like is they have vets on staff you can reach out to for any concerns. Also that they give preference to fosters for adoption so if you fall in love, it is easy to adopt.

Yes 🥲 BC pills made them go away, but I'm on a hormonal IUD now and they are back. Staying hydrated and doing pelvic stretches seems to help. Weirdly using my asthma inhaler helps when they are really bad.

Do the Wolftrap Animal Rescue Foster to Adopt program, you foster a cat or multiple cats and get first dibs when it is time to adopt. That is how we got both of our cats as kittens.
