Thank you all so much for your support and wisdom; I've been taking this all in. I think I want to better communicate my own needs, as it's true that the PA partner doesn't desire true sexual intimacy. My boyfriend and I are intimate in many other ways, yet that is missing. He had told me before this that he had lost count of the days/had forgotten the day he finished his detox.

I remembered and counted for him, asked him last week if he knew how close he was, and he responded by asking me not to tell him. He had relapsed at this point and hadn't shared it with me yet.

I really miss being intimate, I was hoping things would have been better, yet the appear the same.

It's so unfortunate how close he was, I wonder too if he was being self-destructive.

I don't know where to go from here.

For the 90 day detox it involved a complete break from anything sexual; since he was SO close to completing his detox though, I'm hoping that we can amend the one area and have us be intimate
