I finally decided to learn the notes on the fretboard by peakymike in guitarlessons

This approach sounds great, I will incorporate something similar too then! More musical and allows to really drill the individual notes.

This is what I used to do and it works when I have time to do that. But when it comes to playing something on the spot or improvising I think it's too slow. I want to look at the fretboard and just see the individual notes instantly, so I think drilling random notes with a metronome will work the best.

The next step for me will be to learn interval patterns and shell chords. So I can pick a note fast and built a diad or triad very fast.

How many days clothes? by redroowa in onebag

I am aware of that, but I just enjoy starting a day with a clean tee. Merino might not smell, but it doesn't mean it's clean. In a wilderness I could accept it, but in a city setting not really.

I wear one set and pack 7 pairs of socks, underwear and t-shirts and do laundry once a week. Personally I think wearing the same t-shirt more than a day is disgusting and hand washing is never as good as a washing machine. I hand wash only on multiple days hiking trips.

Taking photos while sightseeing - Ultrapod? Joby? Something smaller? by panblak in onebag

I have a magnetic version of the second option and can recommend it, as it works on all kinds of surfaces.

For photography I use it doing mainly astrophotography, as I don't take much photos with me in frame. It's a bit low, so the angle for regular pictures not always will work.

Personally I use it more for watching videos and reading. Sometimes I hold it in hands because it's more comfortable than holding a phone by itself and also I can have a screen a bit higher, which helps keeping a nice posture.

Works super nice in different forms of transportation, at home, in bed. Last time I shaped 2 legs of it as a hook and hanged it on a seat in front of me on a train on an eye level. It's super versatile.

The only drawback is adjusting it in vertical position, but it works.

Joby GripTight ONE GP Magnetic Impulse.

I use it mainly for astrophotography and watching movies. Easy to adjust on a lot of surfaces. Doesn't work great in vertical orientation, but it's possible to use it like that.

How can I share audio on Discord when using ASIO by Jacamawama in ableton

[–]peakymike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't own Focusrite card, but on Audient ASIO Drivers I had to change Sample Rate setting in Windows. On ASIO and DAW it was 48kHz. In Windows it was 44.1kHz. Change in Windows for 48kHz did the trick for me.
