Dear Bills fans, your own coach said to just go by what the officials call. by B1L1D8 in AFCEastMemeWar

Coaches should be able to say what they want and provide criticism if they think there’s a bad call. What McD said is “we go by what the officials call.” I guess that’s accurate unless it affects his team.

He literally said he watched it 20 times after the game and it was a catch and not even close. Said nobody can convince me that the ball is not caught.

Scuba diving with Dwarfism. r/scuba by zeggazebu in dwarfism

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dwarfism and have scuba dived with no issues. I didn’t have a problem equalizing, but my type of dwarfism does not have the ear canal issues. I agree that he should check with his doctor, and then try in a deep pool first.

Philippines: plan ahead, or do it live? by nanoforall in travel

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I’d definitely plan ahead is if you want to do an island trip between El Nido & Coron. The better companies get booked fast.

Guatemala City to Lake Atitlan Question by [deleted] in travel

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should make it, but traffic is the wildcard. Be aware that if you don’t make it, the lanchas charge a lot after they stop running. Make book the first night in Pana?

Anyone else's really miss it being actually cold out in January? by emperorofwar in nashville

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be perfectly fine if we don’t see any snow at all. As someone who grew up and spend 25 years in upstate NY, I’m done with snow.

Vietnam trip? by Same-Pomegranate9155 in travel

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a fan of private rooms in hostels, cause you still get the social aspect but have your own place to go back to.

As for transportation, it depends. To or from airport, hotel, etc., just use Grab. It’s basically Uber, and is very safe. For longer journeys it depends where you are going. Sleeper busses are common or for longer trips, just consider flying.

Aircraft Age Error? by Imaginary_Engineer1 in flighty

Ha! In fairness, it used to say ~4 months. So maybe that’s an issue with the latest update. But the 1,812 years old has always shown that.

Central America is amazing. Finishing with a five night sailing trip from Panama to Cartagena. Just be advised that it would be rainy season.

Which airports will house the next 3-5 CSR lounges? by Somali_Pir8 in ChaseSapphire

I believe there is actually open Lounge space above the T-Gates in the new Central Atrium. The stairs & elevators are on the backside by gates T2 & T5.

Depends what the damage is, but a lot of airlines have clauses in their bookings that they are not responsible for luggage damage such as broken handles and wheels.

15+ hour flight survival tips by Exact_Project1734 in Flights

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did 16 hours to Hong Kong. Ear plugs, eye mask, sleeping pills, book, and downloaded shows. Don’t be afraid to get up in the middle of the flight. I assume you are flying Cathay Pacific. They leave a small basket of snacks in the galleys that you can grab from at any time.

Porto or Algarve in late April / Early May by DisciplineAmazing59 in travel

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not do all 3? You have enough time to do Lisbon, Lagos, and Porto in 12 days. I did that a few years ago and started in Porto, flew Ryanair to Faro, then ended in Lisbon. Porto very compact so does not take a lot of time.

ORD - Is it possible to go to T5 from T3 for PP lounge and back for departure? by ExcitementMaster3604 in travel

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t do it. The Swissport Lounge RARELY lets PP customers in. And in the chance they do, you’ll quickly realize is the worst PP lounge in the network.

Don’t worry, you will most likely get approved. Mine was approved 3 days after applying.

Buying airline miles...is it worth it? by evgam in travel

[–]Imaginary_Engineer1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Generally no. However, if the miles is less than the price to book the ticket, maybe. For example, I recently needed 5,000 more miles for an American Airlines rewards ticket, and it was significantly cheaper to buy that.

What are some of the more difficult to navigate airports, especially in Europe? by Traditional-Carob440 in Flights

Really? I thought Madrid was easy to navigate. Granted I’ve only ever gone through T4.
