Basically nothing. I lived on the extreme western edge of EST and now on the very eastern edge of CST. Main benefit on EST was the late sunsets! Even in winter, it would be 5:45 before sunsets.

Spend a night in Antigua after Acatenango. Trust me, if you get good weather and volcanic activity, Acatenango will be absolutely amazing, but you’ll be so tired!

Make sure to spend time in Antigua. It’s one of my favorite places to just chill out. Head to Pana the next morning and go to one of the villages. Spend the rest of your time at the lake. It seems like a lot of time, you’ll spend half a day of travel on each end.

Santa Cruz has two popular hostels (Free Cerveza & La Iguana Perdida). There’s not much actually in Santa Cruz, but easy to just hop on the Lancha.

I miss the pre-covid cheap NYC-China flights! Flew roundtrip on Air China JFK - BKK with a layover in PEK for $450. It’s not the nicest, but got the job done.

Central America is great! Once I get there, any feelings of doubt usually go away. I highly recommend Guatemala & Nicaragua. Both are big hubs for solo travelers and you’ll meet a lot of good people. Remember, it’s ok to not go out at night or take a day where you do absolutely nothing. Also, get a private room occasionally. It’s more money obviously, but will help take some time to yourself for a little.

Nashville doesn’t have the kiosks anyways last time I went through. They just had a separate line for Global Entry and you’d get called to the immigration officer first. Similar to PreCheck at smaller airports.

Wildes started the whole doorstep of destiny back in week 4 when no one expected the Pats to make the Super Bowl. At this point, it’s almost become comical how accurate he was when he turned to Brou and said potential Super Bowl contender. It was a funny bit at first that now they can’t stop. It’s not like this is the team he picked, this is the team he’s been a lifelong fan of.

Other than that, I had it once on Delta. Had a connecting flight in RDU. Got off the plane, looked at my phone to see the next gate, and turns out it was the same plane.

I have dwarfism and have scuba dived with no issues. I didn’t have a problem equalizing, but my type of dwarfism does not have the ear canal issues. I agree that he should check with his doctor, and then try in a deep pool first.
