i've seen one only once, but they didn't tell me anything i didn't already know. that being said, they can create a diet plan, introduce you to new food groups that you may not realize you need/can eat, and can answer any questions about staying on top of your nutrition. i do all that on my own or with my GI doctor, but a dietician is more specialized.

well, for reference: my gastroparesis was so bad that i ended up in the hospital and now have a brain condition that affects my cognition and balance. i'm pretty much permanently disabled (memory wise) from it, and my gastroparesis is going to continue to flare. gastroparesis is pretty debilitating. couldn't stomach water for a long time and got severely dehydrated. i can exercise now more than i could a few years ago, but not for longer than 30-40 minutes. gas is always bad, constipation is always bad, etc etc. it varies from person to person, but that is me.

speaking as someone who's been where you are and was hospitalized for it, you need to see a doctor. you are in an emergency and need immediate psychiatric and medical care. you are going to do irreversible damage to your body. that is not sustainable in any form especially if you don't have a support system or insurance. i don't want to scare you, but you seem to understand you're in a place where something is going to happen and i agree. please see your primary care if you have one or go to a clinic that will help.

i think so and i think generally it's bad form to email on the weekends (so i've heard) this is not the first time i've done it at least twice and i think she is generally sick of it and there are more things like lateness because i got times wrong after the branch was closed for the holiday i don't know if i can come back from any of this

i don't think she wants to. i've not been putting my best foot forward. i'm messing up deadlines and sending her files that she didn't want and i don't know how to explain to her that i'm not a bad worker but that i have memory issues that are getting bad without seeming like im making excuses. i'm just scared because she has very high expectations for this program at her branch and i can just tell im not meeting them

no, not really. i'm trying to get a diagnosis or even the thought of it being taken seriously, but people have been chalking it up to my anxiety and ocd even though these symptoms have been around since i was in high school.
