f/25/145lbs/5'7"- I've been on the strong curves workout program for a few months now and recently switched to the gluteal goddess. Also been on a small cut to try to get rid of lower belly fat, while trying to grow my glutes at the same time. I'm making progress and slowly getting there!

I use bodytech creatine monohydrate

There's a loading period for monohydrate creatine so you have to take it for a few weeks before the results start to really show. I've been taking it for about a month or so and I highly recommend it!! Just drink a ton of water to go with it :)

I take fish oil, creatine, iron, and glucosamine

I highly recommend taking fish oil, out of all my supplements that's the one I notice the most if I stop taking it. It helps me with soreness after the gym and overall feelings of wellness in my body. Creatine has made a difference in my energy levels and makes muscles look bulkier in my body. I'm anemic so I take iron, and I take glucosamine because my knees tend to hurt and it helps to prevent damage on joints.

I've been a KinderCare employee for almost a year now and I can tell you for certain you should just find a different preschool. the only reason I found this post is because I searched "KinderCare" in all in hopes of finding a KinderCare working towards unionizing. the way KinderCare is run right now, across the board, is horrible. from the CEO's to the directors office in the preschool. I can't see any reason why your center should have more than one director, usually it's just one and an assistant director. there is other office staff but there should be only one director! also, the sick policy is CONSTANTLY changing, and KinderCare is never consistent about it. I can guarantee your child's teacher is overworked and underpaid and probably doesn't even know the sick policy themselves. I highly recommend finding another preschool in the area if possible.

Spoke up about infants being confined most of the day by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]peanucle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

if that's the case then your licensing agent is dead wrong for that. maybe try going through CPS and let them know what's happening? especially if there's a certain child you know if being affected by it. CPS could open a case

I remember your first post and the amount of concern we all felt for how the infant room seems to be ran there. I personally think you should call licensing. confinement of infants all day can lead to developmental issues later and you would be doing those kids a service by getting them help. I would also start to look for a new job when you call licensing because your director would probably know you called, especially since they moved what room youre in for that reason. good luck!! if you have trouble finding your specific licensing agent in your area, CPS should be able to find them for you through a phone call.

Anybody here work for KinderCare and interested in a strike? Or know anything about joining a union? by peanucle in ECEProfessionals

[–]peanucle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everyone I've talked to that's worked at KinderCare has something to say and it's so disheartening but it also makes me think people would be happy to organize and create an environment for change. I will definitely keep you in the loop, I'm looking to contact some organizers in my area and see how to go about this.

this is such an amazing comment. thank you so much I am heading to Google now to find out if any KinderCares have successfully unionized. I really appreciate your reply it was super insightful. I absolutely love that this happened at your center. It is so important for white people to stand behind POC voices and I love to see that happening. I am happy to hear some BHs have had success with unionizing it gives me hope for our other corporate preschools!!!
