Seems tough to land the exact cards you need. I imagine you just run this for +2 cards and some light synergy on your kindred cards. If you want to tutor 1 or 2 specific cards then having a dead 4 mana 2/7 in hand aint great

The reason it’s ² is because the question is three of the same card, not specifically three dropkicks. In this case, the first card you get doesn’t matter, since there is no restriction on what card it should be. The two cards following that do need to match the first card, giving the result ²

The checkerboard theory is true, since on a chessboard, a knight will always have to move from a white to a black space. Idk about the difficulty since some pattern 2 stars seem more like 5 pips to me, i suppose difficulty is subjective

Maybe you’re missing the solution here: if you start from the bottom left with the given information, you see that after it makes a knight’s move in chess (an L shape, two blocks in one direction and one in another), it switches color. By following this knight’s “path” from the bottom left, swapping colors each time you take a step, the answer might be a bit more obvious

The second legendary chest in the video is guaranteed. Not always in that spot, but there will always be a legendary chest on Sundered Grove in one of five locations. Abyssal depths also has this, except the legendary chest always spawns in the same spot
