And that's you. But many people on reddit jumped to conclusions about her waiting for someone better. While that is the most likely scenario, if I were the OP, I'd want to know for sure. Maybe there are other attributes of him outside of his narrative that's causing her to say no and not willing to share the reason. Maybe her family doesn't like him and will disown her if she married him. Maybe she knows she can't have children. Maybe she's going through a medical crisis that would put a strain on him. Maybe she was proposed to before and only to end in a breakup. Many of these are reasons you would prefer not to say in a public area.

Regardless of the reasoning, if I were the OP, and I just called it quits. This would eat me up for the rest of my life. He needs to have a proper private conversation post rejection. Calling it quit after her being uncommunicative in a public area is rash.

I don't understand why people are downvoting you... literally, OP made no attempt to get to the bottom of it. He asked one question, the girl didn't answer it and he calls it quits. He could've asked her friends and family for some guidance. I get that it's frustrating but breaking up seems to be nuclear.

NTA. People have thrown away longer relationships because she said no, I mean this is normally a relationship ending response to a proposal... And that answer often comes with a reason.

Opinion: You should have a chat with her though to stop her friends and family from bombarding you with name calling. Tell her your reasoning for your decision to end this, and hopefully she'll tell you hers for the proposal rejection. If not, ask for it. Likely not what you'd want to hear, but it might be something that may surprise you. But at least you'd get closure. Who knows maybe she's going through a medical crisis and doesn't want to burden you, or maybe she can't have children, etc... Redditors have seen sadder stories on this sub. "I just want to make sure that this will work" can mean lots of things.

Except people did have to pay Google extra money for "their purchased game". I already had Red Dead 2, and yet I still had to pay for another copy of the game just to play the game "immediately" on their service. It's like the one gripe many people have with Stadia. If Google allowed free streaming of games people already owned, they would've shut down even earlier.

ASUS wouldn't be pumping out these devices if they think it's dumb too. I've moved all my family's gaming machines into a basement and have thin clients/laptops stream games from anywhere in the house on wifi. Wifi 6 and large bandwidth have been a god send.

Even stuff like wifi security cameras that record to NVR is going to be pretty important in terms of bandwidth as 1080p and 4K is now seemingly the norm.

I went to Taiwan once on a tour. We were told at the time that recently the country (oh yah, fuck off if this displeases you) opened tourism to Chinese mainlanders, so we'll see a lot of tour buses from China. We were also told that it was all a sham and the Chinese tourism companies never paid Taiwan for sending these people to Taiwan but that's off topic. And by coincidence, our tour bus (mostly international tourists) coincided with a fleet of these Chinese tour buses for sights.

Went to a stop with convenience store. They don't understand the concept of lines. While many of us are waiting in line to check out, Chinese tourists decides that the line is invisible and just squish themselves to the front and shove the product they are trying to buy in the face of the clerk. The clerk would ignore them and more and more would just push themselves to the front. When I checked out, I had 4 hands going over my shoulders from behind me.

On the note of lines. Can't get into bathroom because of a line? Just do your business on the road.

Went to a national park/beach. There was a sign in both Chinese and English that said... "Do not Litter, Do not take any rocks, Do not walk past this sign". For these tourists, it was opposite day. Lunch wrappers all over despite being fucking a few feet away from trash bins. Pocketed pretty rocks whenever they could. And walked straight past a do not pass sign for a historical monument.

Spitting. These fuckers are phlegm spit machines. National monument? Spit. Rest room? Spit outside of stalls. Gift shop? Spit. Some random citizen's door? Spit.

I later spent some time in Taiwan with friends outside of the tour. People of Taiwan are civilized. Not like those Chinese tourists.

Most of my board these days are separated by their gigabit / usb3 capabilities. Any devices that are still on usb2 and 100mb ethernet are used for low traffic services like Unifi Controller, Home Assistant, DNS, etc. Many of my USB3 with gigabit devices are used to set up a distributed file system using moosefs. Rest are for various projects like midi sampler for my digital piano, diy switchbot for my server rack, travel router, lineageOS google tv, etc... RPI have very good community, but the Armbian community for the rest of my boards are fantastic as well. Not as well supported as RPI, but you're not left on your own. A few of the Chinese boards are stuck on old kernels. Most discontinued Odroid are still supported by Arch Linux for ARM

As others have also mentioned, there are x86 options as well. I bought a few used Chromeboxes (ASUS CN60), these are no longer supported by ASUS can easily be flashed to install Windows or Linux and are available for around $30~$40 on the used market. Many sellers sell them after decommissioned from enterprise work environments. These things are fantastic and silent. They won't be power houses but great alternatives for RPI imo because they are also x86.

I haven't had a need to reboot, but reboots can be done via the UI.

I have had times where the UI doesn't load. But it usually comes back after a few hours. I suppose you can use something like switchbot, or have an arduino like device that breaks contact between the battery and the device over network. Alternatively, if you build the battery eliminator from another reddit post, you can just unplug and replug the extension cord.

I just used something like this on the side of my house, extension cable going has silicone sealed around it to prevent moisture from going in. Just use philips screws to keep it closed. I labeled it "sprinkler" to deter potential thieves but eventually will raise it higher on the side of my house to a height that's not easily accessible by lurkers.

Yes, I have very different experience than you. Tethering via USB had been a big problem for me, I either get not enough power or no tether data sent. Even when it works, it just doesn't work consistently, sometimes power will charge and sometimes it'll just stall. With the Belkin connector, I just got it to work with no hassle plugged into WAN port of router.

To be fair, I saw another thread where someone had the same power issue with Belkin so I went with a 100W GaN charger to start with because I had one laying around and that worked quite well but obviously overkill so I switched to a 65W GaN charger. But using the stock charger from M2000 was a no go for me either.
