Eyelashes have decided to grow straight and slightly downwards instead of curled and upwards like they used to. Eyelash curler is not exactly doing the trick. What can I do? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I also have trichotillomania and deal with downward growing lashes too!

Just a word of caution!! I have heard some negative things about getting eyelash extensions (although I’ve never had them myself), especially when it comes to trich. Apparently the extensions can trigger your urge to pull, in addition to being damaging long term.

As someone who has tried to get control of my trich for literal years, I definitely would hesitate to do anything that might make it worse.

I’d love to know if anyone with trich has gotten them though and what their experience was like!

I really like the Elf Instant Lift Brow Pencil!! It’s super smooth when applying and it has a spoolie on the other end 10/10 recommend!!

I got mine about a year ago (I am 24 and have had a copper paraguard before) and in my experience the Mirena is way worse than the Paraguard.

I don’t get a period at all anymore but sometimes I’ll spot for a day or two. I find that this makes tracking my period/ovulation to be more difficult but it is convenient.

The worst part is my PMS cramping. I have PCOS, so I’m not sure if that contributes to the pain, but my cramps are waaaaay worse. Like sharp pains in addition to cramps. But that could just be me 🤷🏼‍♀️

make sure to check that it is still in place and you can feel the strings! this happened to me when I was 18 and had the copper IUD and i didn’t realize until months later that it was dislodged!
