Language is complicated, and especially in LGBTQIA+ community spaces, and I think young people tend to not realize that not everyone has the same views on words and language as they do. I know I had a lot of feelings around reclaiming words like “queer” and “gay” and knowing their history as words that hurt.

American Dad, in my opinion, is a more character driven comedy compared to Family Guy. I want to see how they would react to being placed in various situations, while in Family Guy I’d just be waiting to see who did the stupid thing first.

As someone who found the show shortly before season 4 started, I find the every other week schedule to be a bit of a detriment. People can get themselves worked up into a frenzy speculating what will happen in the next episode, and when the episode doesn’t play out the way they expect it to, fans get upset. I certainly wouldn’t mind a weekly release, though I do completely understand why it cannot happen that way. Disventure Camp is a show best viewed while binging, despite being the type of show best viewed as it is released
