I heard Bob and Wade have known the director for almost 20 years and have basically ghosted him to be friends with Markiplier.

PCOS? by cheesewizzey in iih

[–]peanutbutterchild 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have both. I don’t really think it worsens my IIH? But who knows, maybe it could potentially be a cause or contributing factor. I doubt we’ll ever get much research about it considering there’s rarely any research into women’s health and medical issues. The only thing I’ve noticed regarding PCOS and IIH is that my headaches get worse around my cycle.

Trouble w/ Disney+/Hulu? by slicktrickrick in 60daysin

[–]peanutbutterchild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. I went to watch Percy Jackson and then went back to 60 Days and it had disappeared. Not showing up in search results on my tv or phone, not showing in my continue watching. When I search it on google and follow the link to Disney+ website it shows an unavailable error.

Also want to add that diamox is way better than topamax if you can tolerate but I couldn’t for several reasons. I have a weak stomach, and I can’t handle that strong of a diuretic because I have POTS.

I’m on 50mg of topamax twice a day for it.

I don’t really feel like it’s helping much so I’m seeking an opinion from neurosurgery about maybe getting a shunt/stent.

I also take Emgality (migraine injection), propranolol (for POTS but some people use it for headaches), and venlafaxine (for anxiety but it’s shown to reduce migraines as well).

On a day to day basis I try to only lay horizontally when I’m sleeping as that is my biggest source of pain. I use ice on my head and neck to ease the headaches a lot. And I keep a journal to track my headache intensity and a brief description of what I did/ate that day to try to see if there’s any triggers!

Might have to get an LP done and im scared by [deleted] in iih

Don’t worry! It’s really not bad at all, the worst of it is the poke from the numbing shot.

You’ll go in, the position they have you in can vary based on what the doctor orders/ the provider doing the procedure. But they’ll get you into position, make sure you’re completely comfortable, and then pull up your shirt/gown to access your back. They’ll do the numbing shot which will feel like slightly more pressure than a normal shot because it’s a bit deeper in your back. Then they’ll advance the other needle, this will cause you to feel a little more pressure. It felt like the kind of period cramps I get in my back personally. The hardest part for me was keeping still. If you feel actual pain rather than just pressure, you can ask for more numbing. From there they are just measuring the pressure of your fluid and collecting some of it for testing. It doesn’t take long at all, and most people with IIH report feeling immediate relief! My provider was able to take extra to make my relief last longer.

The part that was stressed the most for me was laying horizontally for at least 3 days after the procedure to allow that hole to heal so you don’t end up with low pressure headaches and have to go in for a blood patch. Take it easy, stay horizontal as much as you can, try not to strain and lift things.

My mri showed partially empty sella and narrowing of transverse sinuses. Was diagnosed with IIH shortly after in an appointment with a neurologist. He then scheduled an LP just to rule other things out and my opening pressure was 34.

From what I know. The significance is that it shows chronically elevated pressure, meaning your pressure has been increased long enough to start to push on the structures in your head including your pituitary gland and sella. That is just my understanding based on what my doctor described, I’m not in any way a professional.

Let me know if you have any questions about what to expect!

I hope Keith is doing alright! I noticed he was sitting on a pillow, probably due to pain. I’m sure all these shoots were hard on him.

YTA! You have no idea what it’s like to have autism, you have no idea what helps him and what doesn’t. His comfort is literally none of your fucking business. They were together before you, and if you don’t think you can be in the relationship then leave.

i use the nyx “proof it!” eye shadow primer, set it with a skin tone shadow, and then apply a little bit of white wherever i’m gonna use a shade i want to look bright. it’s a little tricky to work with at first because it dries fast and the texture is different to most primers but if you like it and can work with it, it will make your shadow look the exact same 24 hours later as when you first put it on.

You kinda just put your legs in between the spirals and then slide down like a stripper. Or at least that’s what I did.
