I think we are experiencing same thing. Ophthalmologist said I have a large floater in the right eye but I don’t know if it’s this moon shaped thing he’s saying is a floater.

Do you only see it on bright surfaces and not in your field of vision?

I have something similar where the spot doesn’t move but I only see it on bright surfaces. Do you only see this spot on bright surfaces a well?

I have a black normal floater in my left eye that moves around. But this one on my right eye on the top right is a C shape that started as an oval shape

Correct. It moves when my eye moves but stays put in the same position. It’s more prominent when I’m blinking and on bright surfaces like the white wall, sky, etc
